I brought my friend to try the dark gallery after dinner as our dessert. Turns out the place was rather small so be prepared to wait for seats. The environment was Cafe like so it's really not conducive for eat and go which means longer unpredictable waiting time. The chocolate rhapsody we tried is a 3 flavored (dark, milk and white) chocolate ice cream bowl which goes well with the chocolate crumbs and meringue that the bowl comes with. It's a good balance without too much bitterness or excessive sweetness. I give it 5 stars. This Ike bowl that looks like a Japanese pond not only looks aesthetically fantastic. The blend of flavours was done well too! I particularly enjoyed the mochi combined with sesame ice cream and sesame biscuit. It's something I can order on it's own and enjoy it as it is! This is a perfect place who loves food photography and desserts.

Had this dark and white chocolate soft serve on a slab of Belgian waffles. It's a pretty enjoyable meal only that it's really tiny for its price. The waffle was only the size of my palm, you can imagine. I felt that the staff attentiveness for a premium cafe is also lacking. It makes the price feels expensive because there's no value in the food nor the service. But if one is feeling indulgent, I enjoyed my soft serve with waffle.

The ever changing menu of South Union Park kinda forcefully left me with the choice of this interesting looking dessert. It's basically carrot cake with molten lava white chocolate with a big scoop of yogurt at the top with carrot sauce sandwiched in between the carrot cake. It's taste pretty alright except for the sourish yogurt which I failed to appreciate. I found the sourness overwhelmed the white chocolate and even the carrot cake. When I tried the dessert without the yogurt it tasted much better. Perhaps South Union Park was trying a bit too hard on this one, they should have stuck to something simpler.

Tried this terrarium and to be frank I only took a bite. That's because it's scattered with mint leaves and I don't take that at all. I enjoyed my sole bite which felt addictive particularly because the cold sponge mixed with cream and cookie crumbs tasted like an ideal dessert.

This honey garlic wings was surprisingly good! It's fried till crispy, meat was tender and what I really liked about it was the honey coated garlic seasoning. It makes the wings sweet, and kept luring my tastebuds to go back for more. Perfect for the sweet tooth!

Hits and misses with this dish. The pistachio lava cake was really nutty, strong pistachio flavour and cake was a little crispy on the outside with fluffy inside. I had issue with the fact that the lava gave way from the bottom instead of the side when we attempted to cut through. I also didn't like the lukewarm temperature of the cake. The cold gelato totally overwhelmed the lukewarm cake. Still it's a very good experience having only tried molten chocolate lava cakes previously.

This muffcakes is my very first when I had a craving for ricotta hotcakes. I must say it formed a positive impression on my tastebuds making me try more of such fattening indulgence. The muffcakes provides a crispy crust with a fluffy cake interior. The magic balls that comes with it quickly went into my friend's tummy. The cube vanilla ice cream definitely stands out in photos. It also goes exceedingly well with the muffcakes but do go in a group. It's too much for 2 people even when we only shared a main.

I found the cookie infused matcha with ice cream to be a nice break from waffles with ice cream. I actually liked this combination better. I guess cutting up the piping hot cookie and eating it with cold and delicious ice cream is really sweet indulgence. I must add I have been here twice and the second time the cookie felt a bit soggy even before I cut it up. On good days though, I'll prefer this to any waffles with ice cream. A little more consistency perhaps?

Ordered the Funnel Cake at Crackerjack because the food looks so Instagram worthy! Superficial reason to choose the sweet treat haha. The pancake taste very much like fried fritters which goes well with caramel, bananas and the candied bacon. Simple ingredients but a pleasurable indulgence!

This butterscotch pancake is a bomb! I like how it's crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I like the buttery aroma that exudes from the pancake when I cut through it. It totally won me over when the ice cream gave the added oomph to take you to heaven when you eat it together with the pancake and maple syrup. The honey gold flakes that comes with the dish really adds aesthetic excitement to the dish. Winner! I'll be back!

Had this salted caramel and cookies and cream ice cream with delicious waffles topped with maple syrup sauce. I felt the ice cream went really well with the waffles which was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It's a pity the ice cream melted really fast because it would have been an added oomph to an otherwise very satisfying dessert

I live for the best experiences. Pursuing the most enjoyable food and sharing with everyone.
