Was pretty skeptical about their limited food menu but bam, this is worth a pleasant shout-out. Baked eggs with cheese, avo, smoked salmon ($16.80) with tortilla nestled at the bottom, this dish is done with pride cos the avos are ripe (basics that many cafes neglect) and the spice on the top is necessary, mozzarella is subtle and very delightful. ALL the elements just complement one another to create a wholesome dish. Bravo. Not bias at all but the sandwiches were pretty A* too. Simple ingredients, so minimalist but 10/10. White cold brew had mild sweet tones which I enjoyed very much!
I've never been a fan of soya sauce chicken Nor one of roasted delights. Checked out this hype and was really impressed by the moist and flavourful chicken breast, which could stand on its own. Noodles were very Q and seasoned perfectly. Didn't order the char Siew (foodies said it would disappoint) Roasted pork rib surprisingly threatened to steal the show while the roast pork was forgettable. Wantons packed a myriad of textures and good flavour and wasn't pathetically small. The soup was just a mistake. Chilli was unique, had an acidic vinegar-ish kick that keeps you going at it. All these for $22.50, I'll definitely be back.
Additional omelette on my sunny side up is the way to go. Messy yet so satisfying.
$12 (+ drink): Grilled cheese (spammed), roasted mushrooms, caramelised onions, white bread. Real deal.
It's a 'Vegetarian'($15)'s cheat meal la, fried eggs, grilled cheese, guac, pickled spicy Mexican-style slaw stuffed in a hoagie roll. EVERY non-believer that I recommended this became a fan. Tip: drizzle sirarcha for that spice on spice.
Parma ham with egg $8
Not a fan of the Parma but I must say I really like the thick, crispy and fluffy toastbox-like toast and the creamy scrambled eggs seasoned to perfection. Vibes really worth the price!
When I thought pulled pork with fries was just gimmicky, this proved me wrong. It's fragrant, tender but yet had that bite to it and complemented the fries really well without making them soggy.
[Wolf x Bird bird @annsianghill]
Patty packed with flavour and you could tell it's the real deal. Just look at that slab.
Technically I got this salted egg yolk chicken cutlet with rice for $3, coupled with a complimentary drink, at a beach event. Pre-packed, not expecting mad crisp, would say the batter's nicely thick and packed with flavour. Salted egg sauce wasn't gimmicky at all, shiok.
Mighty cheese steak S$15
Hoagie roll soaked with 4-Cheese roasted beef. Up level sandwiches caring less bout the hype, focusing on execution.
$5 for this wholesome burger, crispy homemade pork belly. Super shiok.
$9 for this huge ass portion which reminded me abit of ramly's! My tummy is happy
