Zi Char!
Order the small bittergourd fish head ($16). The bitter gourd was very bitter which I found it very shiok. It doesn’t have the raw bitterness but a very ground flavour. The Fish head was fresh and satisfying. Will order this again!

Ordered the small ($16) lala because there was much rave about it. But I found it expensive. $16 for 15 pieces of lala. Taste waste it’s great the garlic bits was generous though it was a tad too salty.

Ordered the medium size ($11) san lou meehoon. I know I shouldn’t be counting but you will find 3 pieces of meat (pork) and loads of thick chewy Sotong tentacles (dry). It has a strong cutter fish flavour. Unlike the JB ones, the meehoon is crispy on the outside. But the flavouring is really good. And the chewy, springy meehoon is surprisingly better than the crispy on the outside version.
Caution: there are loads of vegetable hidden under the blanket of meehoon.

We ordered this Xing Hua soup noodles ($8) for sharing. The soup is so delicious that it will start a seafood party in your mouth! Yummilicious~ the soup base is even better than the one at Pu Tien! Xoxo, wet tissue no have
We ordered this shell dish ($15). I don't know what you call this shall. We simply pointed and told them we wanted this for 3 person. This was very tasty. The natural sweetness from these fresh and succulent shell creatures was pure delight! Love this! Xoxo, wet tissue no have
We went to try the zi char here because of the recommendation on burpples! Ordered 2 medium size crabs for $30 (plus $3 for the buttery salted egg sauce). We wanted to get their large size crabs, but they only have medium size crabs today. The crabs are not large but there's a lot of meat in their body and legs. They gave us one female and one male crab. The female crab was tastier due to the fresh roe attached to the body. I'll try to request for female crabs in future, if I come return to try other dishes at this stall. Man tou is highly recommended. We got 9 man tou(s) for $3. Also, we tried bitter gourd with egg and mee goreng, which were quite average taste wise. Xoxo, wet tissue no have
Ordered curry fish head ($22 but got a $5 discount by following them on Instagram so pretty good deal), French bean with minced meat ($10 was mediocre) and Claypot eggplant ($10 filled with mushroom, taste wise mediocre so not recommended). Curry fish head good for sharing for 4 people. Curry is really good and Fish is really fresh. Best part is they serve with koropok! Yum yum! Xoxo, wet tissue no have~
1. Moonlight Kway Tiao ($8)--smooth and lots of pork lard bites! Delicious and value for money! Totally recommended! 2. Kangkong with cuttle fish ($10)--80% fresh cuttle fish and 20% kangkong~ surprisingly delicious and highly recommended! 3. Pig liver in Claypot ($12)--large, thin and tender 4cm slices! Would be nice if accompanied with rice. 4. Coffee Pork Rib ($12)-- meat is tender but artificial coffee flavour is too strong so not recommended. 5. Salted egg sotong ($18)-- generous portion but easily available in average zi char places. 6. Mingzhu roll-- this is unique for those who have not tried. It's like tau pok packed with mushroom, ham and prawns. But I don't like the overpowering mushroom taste. Not recommended. Table for 5, Ave of $14.60 per person. Xoxo, Wet tissue 20cents
