Tongue Thai'd 😋 🇹🇭
This Tom Yum Goong Soup ($10.15+), served with rice, had a generous amount of huge prawns - very fresh and cooked nicely (not tough at all). Soup is sour and quite spicy, but just enough to my liking.
Finding this place was a happy accident while I was looking for Pizza Hut to tapao my lunch from 😂 place is quiet (idk on weekdays though as there are offices nearby), price is reasonable 👍🏻
Appetizer combo ($22.90+) includes prawn wanton, deep fried tofu, fish cake, spring roll, and mango salad! Additional $10.90+ for chicken satay. Perfect to start your Thai meal 😀

The Bangkok Omelette with Sood Yot Sauce Rice (middle - RM11.90) is a whole plate of rice topped with omelette, paired with sood yot sauce. It was just okay, nothing special for me - a bit oily but I still finished it as I was badly craving for scrambled eggs 😂 not a fan of the sood yot sauce though as the taste was too strong (at least for me hehe)
My fave (or maybe everyone's favorite in this store), Pathumthani Beef Thai Rice Noodle, (Left - RM1.90 each bowl; very cheap la!) still does justice to how I remembered it the first time I fell in love with it. It has a dark broth made of soy sauce and some herbs, with a mix of sour, salty and spicy taste. Don't miss this when you visit! I usually have 3-5 bowls, but I had a big rice meal so 2 then 😁
Another craving satisfied is the Chicken Wings (top - RM4.90). I liked how crispy and rich the taste is on the chicken meat. I can always munch on this 😋
Don't forget to order Cha-Yen (RM6.90) on the side. Very good break from the savoury food! :)
Thai-filled stomach, it is!
One Thai staple I usually order is Pad Thai. Though when it comes to this, I have a very distinct taste in mind that is set as my standard (I have tasted a really really good one back in PH), and Thai by Thai's is a-okay 👌🏻
The noodles already tasted nutty even without mixing the nuts yet, and it comes of as sweet as well. Thanks to the mix of tofu that made the taste balanced. They could do some improvement with the shrimps though as it's a bit overcooked.
Should you want a try, you can get it at RM9.90 (very decent price). Thai by Thai is along the street of PappaRich in PJ New Town :)
