Deserts

Lovely durian ice cream here. I always like to just order a simple scoop of Maoshanwang ice cream topped with nuts! Cool neighbourhood creamery in the north!

Filled tummy right opposite our new Executive Condominium, The Criterion, before the hustle for preparation begins for Saturday's launch (so psyched!!). Coffee was decent; Waffles were not bad, crispy on the outside, eggy and soft on the inside. Too early for buttermilk waffles with ice cream so I got this (prima-deli kind) of waffle and opted for chocolate/peanut that costed a little more. This is actually a bakery so seating capacity is a little small. Their bread is reaaaaaaally soft and freshly baked!!

My golden waffle with earl grey lavender and thai milk tea is decent but not enough to warrant a second visit. The sweetness is cloyingly towards the end of the meal. My friend's charcoal waffle with French vanilla, Nutella cheesecake and salted caramel sauce is gelat and sweet as well. Maybe we shouldn't have greedily decided on soloing a waffle with double scoop each. 😅
