First visit to Wong Kok CCT hidden in the extension arm of Bugis Junction. Really impressed with the Baked Rice with Char Siew in Portuguese Sauce. Certainly coming back for more. Also giving credit to the creativity of the Baked Rice in Red&White sauce although much can be improved to please the palate.
One of the better tasting Carrot Cake served in this area. At $2.50, the portion is reasonably generous. Both black and white taste equally good.
Came late today and missed out on the popular stingray from this stall. This teochew porridge stall still remains 1 of my fav stalls in Ghim Moh Market after all these years. Try the braised meat if you're a fan of fatty meat.
Can you imagine the queue was only for reservation and no walk in. Durians were good and valued for money.
