The last time I had Kbbq was in Seoul Garden 🙄 don't have much to compare to, but this was pretty good for its price! $14.90 per person for weekday lunch. They had 5 types of meats I believe, enoki mushrooms, squid, soups, rice, side dishes etc. I liked all the meats especially the non-marinated ones; the marinated ones were pretty sweet and I got jelak after a while. Some things I did not like were the kimchi soup, the kimchi, the sweet corn salad thing. They had tteokbokki too and I thought it wasn't bad at all!

Overall nothing too special about this place except that it was pretty cheap and they had good meats :)

Don't remember the exact name of this dish but it's pretty much fish pieces in 麻辣烫!I loveeeeee this type of spicy soup and this dish was pretty good! It had some transparent flat noodle thing inside, fish chunks, some vege, and lots of chili and peppercorn of course. Not the best I've had but not bad. Ordered a few other items, wintermelon soup, stir fried pork and tofu, man tou, and the crab meat stir fried glass noodles. The glass noodles dish was actually really good! The soup was very 清淡, I highly doubt they put any MSG in it. Total of 4 dishes, 2 soups, 2 rices ended up being around $90 for 5 people.

This place is definitely meant for sharing. We ordered the Nest Snow and Honey Butter Chicken.
The Nest Snow was pretty much chicken tenders stacked over mash potato, topped with whipped cream (which sounded weird to me), paired with some béchamel sauce and some (tiny) vege chunks. This dish was actually not bad, the sauce wasn't too rich and had a hint of spice to it. The chicken tenders were crispy but not dry, and I really enjoyed the mash. The whipped cream surprisingly didn't bother me very much at all. Definitely recommend this!

This place is definitely meant for sharing. We ordered the Honey Butter Chicken and the Nest Snow.
The honey butter chicken comes with fried tteokk, cranberries, almond slices, and potato wedges. It has a very unique flavor, the first few bites were very satisfying, but the richness kicks in and I couldn't get myself to reach for another piece.. If you've had the caramel corn thing from Daiso, the dish tastes pretty much like that

Verdict: definitely order this to share if you're in a group of like 4, it's worth the try!

I always need to find myself a bowl of mee pok when I come to Singapore! This bowl of noodles comes with 2 fish balls, 1 Teochew meatball, 1 fish wonton thing for $5! Great for a quick and satisfying meal!

This is such a bad picture but I feel like I should say something about this place.. So my friends and I decided to try this place since there's always a 15-30 min queue outside the shop. Because of that, I expected the food to be pretty darn great, since the price was pretty up there too (or maybe I'm just not used to Singaporean cafés' pricing, and the exchange rate 🙄🙄🙄)
So we ordered Breakfast Butter Croissant ($15), Smoked Pulled Pork Sanger ($15), Lola's Full Works ($17), and Truffle Fries ($12). They were Okay, but not fantastic, almost too complicated.
I first tried the scrambled eggs from Lola's Full Works and after 3 bites it got jelak, they put some kind of cheese or something creamy on top of it and I am NOT a fan of that.. Everything else on the plate was drenched in the 'juice' of the omelette so that wasn't very pleasant at all.. Most expensive plate and my least favorite.
As for the Butter Croissant, still a lot happening in one bite but the ham and bacon cuts the richness of the scrambled eggs.
I think my favorite, besides the standard truffle fries, was the Pulled Pork Sanger. It wasn't drenched in sauce, just enough flavor, we found the texture almost like tuna sandwich which was interesting..

Overall I wouldn't queue 30mins in the heat for the brunch menu. I've seen some good reviews on their desserts so maybe try that if you're there?
