Reached at 6 (opening time) queued for an hour, and finished out food in 30 mins but it was worth it πŸ’¦
They ran out of tamagoyaki (the replaced with with some spinach) so instead go ordering the medium I went for the Hitsumabushi at $26.80+. I dont really fancy unagi but this really changed my mind. πŸ‘πŸΌ

Omgosh the amount of grilled pork given was πŸ™ŒπŸΌ they have a sweet taste to it and also the "Chao Tah" (in a good way) taste. Meat was really soft πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

The rice tho, it was wayyyy too soft until it was a bit mashy. Maybe trying the burger would be a better choice

Tasted so awesome with all the sake and whisky. $20 for 7 pieces
$11 for 3/4 pieces

The soup itself had a very rich daikon taste. We finished it to the last drop! The space of the bar was very small and cosy and they serve a pretty wide variety of food and alcohol.

After trying the one in Tanuki raw I have been craving for it every since. It was a pretty good bowl with a strong truffle smell AND taste and also the fried garlic and egg just adds many -umphs to this bowl of goodness. However, it was a pretty small portion though, I was still hungry after polishing off the entire bowl. IMO, Tanuki raw still takes the trophy home.

Butadon ($14) comes with rice, peas and grilled pork. The pork was well seasoned with a little bit of charred taste which rly brought out its flavoured.

The interior of the place is really big and pretty. It's nature/garden themed and how u order it's like Marche except u get a buzzer and you have to self order at the machines in front of the food stall.

The place had Japanese, Italian, Rosti, Korean, noodles, juice/smoothie and a dessert place which sold ice cream and crepe.

I would recommend the butadon and the seafood Aglio Olio. The Spanish Rosti was really small for the price ($14) though. Overall it's worth a visit (:

Update: I think there's a price increase by quite a few bucks.

I'm not really a huge fan of ramen but I do make an exception for Ippudo and Marutama!

Currently having a promo for their 31st anniversary, ramen with 2 pieces of char siew and spring onions are going at $9.90++!!! I added some black fungus ($3) as a side. πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

This was one mean bowl of goodness. The rice was seasoned soooo well, it wasn't just your normal white rice, there was so much flavour packed into it. I felt that the rice portion was just nice while some may think it wasn't quite as filling. The beef and pickled radish and onsen egg was to perfection as well and had a good truffle punch. There was some thin slices of shiitake(?) mushroom in it as well. I could do without the foie gras tho, just my opinion as I can't rly appreciate it. But my pal was swept away by it.

Overall, YAS.

Currently one of my favourite udon places to go. Ordered the beef udon ($8.80) with fried enoki ($1.50 if I'm not wrong). There's quite a wide selection of tempura for you to choose from such as prawns and vegetables. Soup base is rly good and noodles can't be any chewier than this. The udon is cooked with an automated machine to make sure the consistency of the udon is just right every time πŸ˜‹

On top of all these goodness, there's a free flow of tempura bits, spring onions, wakame as well as the tempura sauce dip for your sides.

I think it's pretty filling even for big eaters. Definitely worth your money!

Spicy mayo and tempura bits go really well together 😍😍😍 the hard boil egg and corn really didn't go so well.. at all.

As much as the mega was really worth it, there might be too many things going on in your mouth to individually taste them so I personally feel that the regular size is good enough πŸ‘πŸΌ

First got introduced to this place when it was in Liang Court. Their tori karaage is to die for. But the number of pieces seems to be decreasing over the years. Standard for their nabeyaki udon has been consistent everywhere (at least for Shenton and Liang Court).

Noodles are chewy and have absorbed the flavours the soup. The soup itself was rly good too. Highly recommended πŸ‘πŸΌ (it's actually the kotobuki restaurant beside the coffee place)

Got the lunch set (fried rice + gyoza) at $12.90 ++. I think my expectations were a bit too high thinking that it was similar to gyoza-ya's garlic fried rice, but it tasted just like a normal plate of fried rice with some meat in it. The gyozas on the other hand were SPECTACULAR. Very juicy and absolutely delicious! My friend tried the ramen set and the soup base was clear, and it smelled and tasted like wanton noodles. I guess it's really personal preference as I've seen many good reviews on the ramen.
