Perfectly seared wagyu rump with a kickass béarnaise sauce to heighten the deliciousness factor. Laid on a brioche toast and topped with two irresistible poached egg. How not to love?

Of scallops, crab meat and prawns. Sooo satisfying

I love the intense alcoholic taste of the gelato which goes very well with the crispy and warm waffle.  There is also a generous topping of fruits which makes me feel less guilty about indulging in this sweet treat.  This delectable dessert certainly marks a perfect ending to a wonderful food trail with @sqtop @mya_foodloves @skydive2309 ! Without a doubt, both of these were worthy of Drips Bakery Cafe's claim to be a specialist in tarts.
I found the the lemon custard in the Lemon Meringue Tart to be sufficiently zingy and sweetly harmonised by the meringue. A good choice if you're craving the taste of summer.
Prefer something a lot richer? Well, I reckon the Dark Chocolate de Tart should do the trick. Bound to illicit sighs of bliss is the velvety, dense ganache that's the colour of night which comes sprinkled with plenty of cocoa powder.
Do note the tarts here have the slightly crisper type of base that I personally prefer 😊

Tangy curd and sweet, fluffy meringue cupped in a crisp, thin tart shell. Love that yellow sunshine colour.

😋 This morning's little field trip was to bring a group of students from Taiwan to Tiong Bahru because their project is about food in Singapore! Hahaha, we gave them a taste of both local food at the hawker centre and desserts at the cafés just next door~ Talk about gentrification man, the old vs new contrast can never be more stark! Anyway it was fun bringing them around, hope they enjoyed themselves as much as I did! 😁

I would love to have a Red Velvet cupcake for tea break. The moist crimson Valrhona cocoa cake decorated with sweet frosting, will be a delightful treat~

The kaleidoscope of bright colours of the cake really cheers me up.  Tastewise, the cheesy taste balances well with the various fruity flavours of each colour layer.  So pretty, so yummy ~ I like! (Date: 21 November 2015 Saturday) @sqtop @mya_foodloves @skydive2309

I still think their food is a little overpriced. And average tasting.

But it's quite rare to have steak with my eggs benedict, and potatoes for sides lah! Hehe!
