Life Is Short; Eat Desserts First
Located on Level 1 in Pavilion Elite, enjoy these edible pastels at Softsrve's brand new outlet! Pictured above: Rose Lychee and Cream Soda with a huge, juicy toasted marshmallow (RM10.50). What i personally liked was how the Cream Soda sorbet brings nostalgia, tasting just like candies we would have when we were younger. Both flavours are sweet yet refreshing so get excited mixing flavours and matching them with various toppings, if you're feeling adventurous for a sweet treat š
What better way to unwind after a day's work than to treat yourself to some dessert? Better yet, Alcoholic Ice Cream āØ
Ice Cream flavours here are all homemade from scratch by the owners of Melt'On themselves ā select a flavour (Alcoholic flavours RM9, non-alcoholic flavours RM8 for single scoops) eat them on their own or pair them with a Belgium Waffle or Brownie! Pictured above is a double scoop of Rum & Raisin and Bailey's Oreo RM15, these flavours are pretty strong on their own but oddly creates a perfect balance when eaten together.
However, customer service could be improved as the cashier/waiter who served us that day has left us a rather unpleasant first impression.
If you're in need of a Handsome Boyfriend, fret not because Cake Jalan Tiung offers him in the form of a rich, dark, chocolate cake with chunky Oreo bits with every bite for you to savour, how alluring is that? (right). While the Dirah Spade is a butter cake that has thick strawberry cream cheese frosting in between its layers. It's lemon curd on top gives it the perfect balance of sweet and sour. (Left)
Prices range between RM10 and RM15 per slice, worth every ringgit for its quality and taste of these homemade bakes alongside with a quaint, bright environment, perfect for peaceful catch-ups with a friend!
*Do note that there is no fixed menu for cakes at CJT, the head baker rotates different cakes by choice and updates are on their Facebook page.
