Final lunch in Taiwan 😭😭😭 Super hipster area, Pier 2 Art Center has amazing shops and cafes with very unique offerings.

Oozy, creamy, crispy and savory. Very unique flavors and choice of ingredients for this redesign of the eggs benedict. Nested atop a fried Beancurd Skin and Scone, it cradled the sauces perfectly, providing that crunch while soaking in all that richness.

Saw this recommended by LadyIronChef. The crowd outside this old school joint certainly seemed to agree with him and I could see why.

The main star, the beef and tendons were braised to perfection, melt in your mouth goodness! So good I came twice (for more beef)

Everyone who knew that I was headed to Taiwan told me I HAD to pop by to Addiction Aquatic Development. Boy, was it worth the trip down! Never had such sweet crab meat before and this made me harbor thoughts of robbing a bank to be able to order another set of these!

This might not look impressive but looks can be deceiving.
Inside that inconspicuous spring onion pancake is a hidden bomb. The egg is thrown into a bath of extremely hot oil at red hot temperatures so the outside is crisp and fluffy while the inside is as soft as a Yakun egg. The unsuspecting are sure to be left with an ugly (but tasty) egg yolk stain mark on their shirts.
