Cafes
The perfect way to start a day.
I loved everything on this plate especially the spicy sausage.
Would love to have more toast though 😁 I was still feeling a little hungry after this.
Both were SO GOOD i cant pick a favourite. One is refreshingly light & fluffy with a generous serving of crunchy rockmelon. The other, a mishmash of interesting flavours & textures; butterfly pea flower-coloured glutinous rice with a mousse-like top that tasted like pandan(?) but had a slight savoury taste too.
I would say they complement each other. I just kept going back and forth between the two and the plates were wiped out within minutes 😄
Really like the moist sponge layers and that the cinnamon taste was not as strong as some of the versions I have tried. The walnut pieces gave this dessert a nice crunch & added texture to the cake.
Lovely flavours and aroma of mushroom & truffle oil but really small a serving for the $23 price tag.
Fried chicken were crispy on the outside yet tender & juicy on the inside. Flavourful with hints of spices. We bought additional truffle mayo dip (not pictured) and it was really good as well; really fragrant! Highly recommend getting it to go with the fries!
I opted for the tomato oregano rice. The chicken rice taste was strong and I couldn’t quite taste the tomato but no complaints though cos the rice was very fragrant & tasty. Had the iced honey lime tea which was a refreshing way to end the meal!
Overall a great meal with polite and friendly service staff :) perhaps the location is still slowly building up cos we saw most of the units were empty. But given that the place is accessible as it is near the bus stop, I will definitely be returning!
Always had a soft spot for Japanese cafes and this quiet little place reminded me of the cozy corners of Shimokitazawa in Tokyo. The Japanese style potato salad was really good but I wished the yolk of the soft boiled egg was more 'oozy'. That said, i still cleaned out my plate. (And that was having had a bowl of noodles just 3hrs earlier😆)
Highly recommend washing down your meal with the iced mix fruit tea; it was a light and refreshing end to the savoury sausage and bacon.
Huge portion of lightly battered chicken cutlet stuffed with mozzarella. Served with potato wedges, greens & either toast or rice. This plate has it all🙌🏻
Everything about this is on point.
Well balanced with vege, meat & mushrooms & absolutely flavourful.
Simple but hits all the right notes.
Interesting mix of asian Laksa sauce and western spaghetti. Although...it doesn't quite taste like the usual Laksa sauce. Something spicy yes, perhaps something coconut-y as well...maybe it just needs more curry leaves for the aroma of laksa sauce to be more present🤔.
For $9.90 a plate though, i think it is pretty decent, be it taste or serving portion. The staff are always friendly and polite too👍🏻
I just want to say Han's has one of the most value-for-money breakfast sets around - $5.80 to $7.20. Choose between bacon (my personal fave!), ham or sausage & then between sunny side up or scrambled eggs. It comes with butter toast and your choice of coffee or tea.
In my opinion, they have got their scrambled eggs recipe perfected👍🏼. Buttery and not too plastic or eggy. Cooked to the scrumptious kind of runny. And in the most perfect shade of yellow😍.
Cake was a little dry but the salted buttercream and caramel drizzle saves the day. It did get a little too salty halfway through the slice though😬
You can choose to have the lemonade served in either a lightbulb container or a mason-jar-ish container. Both are made of plastic and both are free to be taken away with you after your meal!
My lightbulb drink came with a light thingy so it really does feel as though the bulb is shining😍 very interesting indeed👍🏼 although it taste more like a fizzy version of Qoo white grape.
