Small Treats
This bakery offers a wide variety of pastry and one will be spoilt with choices. Each pastry is about $5 and above.
This red velvet croissant is not overly sweet and you be surprised to find a filling inside. It is definitely worth the calories.
Do note that you can’t dine in the shop. You have to have the food outside the shop or have it at home.
It does look like dark chocolate because there's lots of chocolate and cocoa powder on it. Doesn't have much coffee or alcohol taste even though it's tiramisu but it does have mascarpone cheese filling. Nice try I must say.
It is slightly smaller than regular Donut.
Will go back again.
Damage: $2.50
It's smaller than the regular donut you find in the market. It doesn't have the 'oily' aftertaste I don't really like for the regular donuts as it's baked. Maybe slightly healthier. Haha!!!
Will go back again.
Damage: $2.50
Regular Thai milk tea and rose Thai milk tea. Milk tea with a twist. Only these 2 offer a less sweet option. $7.80 for these 2. Get your Thai milk tea fix before you go into the cinema.
New shop in town at blk 190 Toa payoh central. The shop is crowded and hence I just pick up a takeaway item which looks interesting - salted egg chicken. $5 for a bowl and a side is $2.50 (but I didn't order). The portion looks decent. The chicken is crispy but unfortunately there is not salted egg taste despite seeing shaving of salted egg everywhere. Can't taste the spiciness or saltiness. I can only taste a little of curry leave flavor. Not too worth my calories I reckon.
