Was brought here by my friend Martin who wanted to introduce us to this place where his friend's dad also hung out when he was doing his Bachelor's...30 years ago. So the place has been around a while. The decor surprisingly doesnt look dated although it can be hard getting a table at 9pm.
I had a burger with fries which was oddly not on the menu (like the hidden dessert menu involving tiramisu and panna cotta!). Maybe it was a little to expensive (13 euros) to be there? But it ranks as one of the best burgers ive ever had. it comes like that, flipped open, with two slices of bacon , a slice of cheese , pickles, a slice of tomato ,the mandatory lettuce and onions.
I pulled out the tomato and pickles, as usual and took a bite..and Heaven exploded in my mouth. The meat was THAT good. it was medium in the middle. A Juicy and tender patty but with enough texture and structure to hold together. A must try even if it costs double the next best , damn burger, but then again you are in a restaurant.
My friend had a Käsespatzen and it is worth a mention too. I almost regretted getting the burger when i tried it, but one bite into the burger put to rest any regrets and doubts.
Pizzas (33cm) and other dishes go for around 7-10 euros and arent all too expensive for a weekly night out.
Their beer, Regiele is also a gem worth a try or two and they have over 30 choices if gin and lots of choices of liquor.
Definitely bringing friends here when they visit.
price:4.30eur
taste: 3.5/5
As my first taste of asian food in augsburg this didnt blow me away. however it must be noted that they arent too salty and the chicken meat was tender. for the price i think the volume of food justifies it.
im not sure what noodles they have used but its not tasty.
Just as a way to fill u up, i guess it is healthier and less salty than a similar priced doner sandwich!
