Spending Christmas afternoon by East Coast Park and enjoying small bites before dinner. However, churros was too hard for my liking so I'll probably skip it the next time. Highlight point of Atmosphere for me is always the cute 3D art that they create. With a wide range of hot and cold drinks available, you can choose a latte art or an additional $1 for 3D art.
The juicy and tender wings had the form and meatiness of a Fitness First gym enthusiast (more Market Street and less Ang Mo Kio), and triumph on their own merits even without the assistance of the all natural, creamy and intensely yolky sauce. 3.9/5
Hidden amongst the stretch of eateries along Katong, you might miss Doong Ji if you don't look out for it. Offering really affordable set lunches, consider this a good lunch option if you're in the area. The food here is authentic, generous, and generally remarkable. The Seafood Stew is robust and spicy, packed with crab, prawns, octopus, clams, tofu, ramen and rice cakes, good for sharing among 3-4. Also share a Seafood Pancake; they're generous with prawns, squid and spring onions.
Many do not know what a pescatarian is & will usually give a look when I tell them what it is. but yes friends, it's a legit word & there are people who have it as a diet.
So for those who are pescatarian, The Tuckshop has this Torched Salmon (S$20) that comes with semi-cooked Atlantic Salmon, Poached Eggs, Ebiko Roe, Asparagus, DouBanJiang Hollandaise & Croissant! What I love is how well cooked the salmon is & how the DBJ Hollandaise complements the Ebiko roe & salmon altogether! It's that good that those at my table were happily licking off every last bit š
