Food Court Fares
Not many drinks stalls in hawkers centre can dish out really good tea. If ever you’re in Bukit Merah View Food Centre try this stall. It’s just next to the bao stall.
Definitely worth trying for it flavour and tender duck meat. Just get a plate of rice or bowl of noodles and the meal us complete. Though the soup is salty you really don’t have to drink all and the vegetables and meat are not overly salty. Great to have on hot days like these days. Yummy too of course.
This stall has been here for a long time. When raw fish was banned, the owner switched to selling chicken rice. However when he realised his fried bee hoon was selling well he switched back. Now his customers come in for either porridge, fried bee hoon or both. If you happen to be at Havelock area go try it. It closes on Monday
Very authentic Hong Kong beef tendons and briskets noodle. Tasty and tender as the meats are marinated well. Noodles are the HK styled which is crunchy. Overall it’s worth $7 for a meal in Orchard Road area.
It's a real pity that the fishballs are big and crunchy but the chilli sauce is too sweet for me. The fish dumplings are good too but it's an add on not part of the dish. Posted by Ah Leong San 2015 October 1.
