Hawker

Where it's oily and Sichuan pepper that causes numbness to your taste buds. But yesterday, my friends brought me to try this Mala Hot Pot located at the People's Park Food Centre, Unit: 1042. The taste and spicy has been adjusted to the local crowd. I really can't take too spicy and oily food. Surprisingly, when I ate this. My face literally lighted up! It's SO GOOD! You choose your own ingredients. I love my friends, they went to order this and mainly order vegetables. We had 1 meat and beef tripes. Potatoes, sprouts, lotus roots, tofu, beancurd skin, eggplant, mushrooms, black fungus. I'm officially in love with this!!!
Hidden gem.. Everyone in the Q is at least 40 and above!
Means a hundred years. Yong Tau Foo of a different kind at Albert Centre Market.
Only bee hoon. Only soup. Fixed ingredients, no choosing. Additional sauce at 30c.
BUT, it is good! Easily Top 5 in Singapore. Soup that has light soy bean savour (and I didn't feel thirsty after finishing), topped with handmade fish & pork, prawn pieces, bittergourd and beancurd skin rolls.
Fresh & appetizing. (I hope the queue doesn't get any longer. Queued for 15 min).
One of the best éč±č Yong Tau Foo (Singapore Style Oden / Nonya style Oden). Normal size cost you $4 and the up size is $5. I honestly feel it is really really worth it. 2 chucky mashed shrimps, three crispy fried beancurd skin (ngoh hiong), one mushroom & minced meat mix and one bitter gourd fish paste mix. The chilli & sweet sauce mix given was just the right amount for me to dip my food with! Extremely satisfying dinner! You get more "feeling" when is a cold raining night. #slurpalicious #ytf #yongtaufoo
