I've never had soto -- traditional Indonesian soup mainly composed of broth and meat -- with shrimp before, and boy it was a real joy slurping the soup. It might be a bit similar to soto betawi or soto kuning bogor, but somehow much much lighter. Honestly I was expecting more beef, but to be fair it is only $14.90.. which is considered cheap (for a good quality short rib) in SG. I'd definitely top up the ribs if there was an option. Overall, the best beef bowl (I've had) so far within this price range. Would def come back! #burpple

The crispyness is spot on, while meat is still moist. (Forget about the oil, it's deepfried food afterall.. what do u expect?) The waffle has that crunchy texture on the outside with a fluff inside. Served with coleslaw, that somehow I feel can be more improve to give the whole dish more kick in the flavor and texture. #burpple

I love the sweetness of the broth and how both noodles and beef are slightly burnt with charcoal aroma.
