On a trip to Penang - Assam Laksa would definitely be a must go. But I guess it's a very acquired taste, not all will like its sourish spicy soup. (But in a way not similar to Tom Yam - but it has a different spice to it)

Some good Churros (RM 9) with Nutella & Salted Caramel Sauce!
We all unanimously agreed that the salted caramel sauce better complement the churros. Though they have other condiments like cinnamon sugar too!

The bamboo stick provided is to crack open crab shells..... rather efficient too as compared to those walnut crackers.

Warm flaky cronuts, cuts with a loud crunch on the top with its moist and tender within..

Had their Strawberry Speciality Cubes drink - essentially a strawberry cubed added with fizzy soda drink 😉 A real cooling drink to chase away the heat away!!

I'm not fan of Coconut Milk/Gula Melaka/Red Bean but this is really surprisely good! It doesn't really have that coconut taste I didn't like, and slightly sweetened by Gula Melaka.

We actually didn't eat all this lahhh, it's all placed on the table for us to put into the pot to cook, they'll count the sticks we eat later. The ingredients were normal, but the sauce were super SHIOK! Try the peanut, chili or the green chili!
