Last stop before exiting Ipoh, this Fish Head Bee Hoon is absolutely fabulous!!!! Freshly fried fish head, fillet, minced pork chops, fried meat balls which explores in your mouth, fried bean curd etc.....endless list of salivating stuffs. They even serve corns in the fish stock to make it sweeter. A MUST try if you visit this sleepy town. Verdict: 4.5/5
Almost anyone who visits Ipoh comes here. Insanely crowded and bustling with life. You can easily find few stalls selling similar chicken rice. Apart from the mere reason of Ipoh hotspot, I much prefer the Singapore version of chicken rice. Eating here does brings you back memory lane though. Verdict: 2.5/5
Serving Zi Char diligently in sleepy town of Ipoh since1963. I savored on some local dishes here this evening - 滑蛋魚肉面,月光河,豬肉湯,炸水餃,白灼八爪魚. I must say the food is not bad at all especially 滑蛋魚肉面, noodles made from fish meat and cooked up in a thick soup based with pork and veggies. Really yummy and indeed something I will want to eat again. Verdict: 3.5/5
