Breakfast And Brunch
My MIL always packs home curry chee cheong fun for breakfast whenever I return to KL to visit. This was how I became acquainted with the dish. And the one sold here at Maxwell Food Centre tastes exactly the same, if not slightly better. If I had one criticism, the texture of beancurd skin could be crunchier.
We thought it was just another cafe serving run-of-the-mill brunch recipes, but were pleasantly surprised. Every dish is special, judging by its description in the menu and choice of ingredients. We only had space in our stomach for 3 dishes, but will probably return to the rest.
Although not a chef recommendation on the menu, certainly one of the best rosti dishes that we've ever had.
Tasty but ordinary...
An Asian twist to a brunch staple... Worth every calorie.
