From 13-16 May, British TV personality Chef Andrew Turner of Hotel Cafรฉ Royal in London will be presenting some specially created dishes for Osia. Expect traditional dishes with a twist like this Grainge Black Angus Beef Fillet MS 2 with a sweet and sour Hong Kong sauce and oxtail Anna potato. 3-5 courses available for lunch and dinner. I'm always happy with a good piece of steak!
The best chocolate souffle in Singapore! Flavourful chocolate souffle, the server cut open the center and poured in cream, chocolate ice cream and chocolate sauce all together. So sinful yet heavenly!
Housed in a beautifully restored colonial building along Scotts Road, contemporary fine dining restaurant Buona Terra is a luxuriously furnished enclave that exudes a promise to wine and dine your companion to seventh heaven. Warm lighting dances along the restaurant; setting the mood (itโs all very romantic, indeed). Adorned with porcini mushrooms and exquisite seasonal black truffle, the homemade casoncelli ($36) is filled with cheese that dissolves into buttery richness in the mouth. Just one of the many delicate dishes youโd be hankering after.
Located in Bishan Park, Cornerstone mirrors its surroundings, creating a lovely, tranquil atmosphere. If you can handle the heat, try their signature spicy Buffalo Wings with varying levels of spiciness, ranging from 1 to 10. The Earl Grey Jivara is a chocolate cake infused with Earl Grey, and is a pretty huge hit amongst the crowd, so you wouldn't want to miss that if you have a sweet tooth.

Brasserie Les Saveurs, St. Regis Hotel. One of the most sublime restaurants in Singapore. It's almost 2 years since I last came here and I'm definitely having plans to come back here on my 21st birthday in April.
The sherbet tasted like a floral Sprite soda, while both the chewy biscuit and candy had the sharp, distinct taste of ginger. The goreng pisang had a most crispy skin, and the mushroom startled me by melting instantly in my mouth before I had time to react. 4/5

My dinner was a blur of high after high of the most phenomenal dishes. Here are four of the "lighter" ones, clockwise from top left, that preceded the mains of seafood and heavier meats.
1) Fennel, orange and burrata ($16++): I am not a fan of fennel but this had me singing its praises. Grilling transformed the fennel to be a thing of sweetness, which worked magic with the citrus element and creamy cheese.
2) Sobrasada ($14++): A spicy cured pork sausage served with toasted sourdough that got my juices going.
3) White onions, raisins, rocket and grated hard cheese: An off-the-menu item that the chefs surprised me with. Love the mix of flavours in here too.
4) Squid, pico de gallo and cotija ($18++): A fab way to enjoy the slippery strips of fresh squid - served in a pool of blended fresh salsa embellished with crumbled Mexican cow's cheese and coriander.
