Chasing Chinese grub

Whammied by the flu bug and even my voice has left the building 😶 Need some nourishing comfort food pronto.

I'm totally bowled over by the lacy pork-shrimp-leek guotie! The xlb were admirably thin and super soupy (I'd just like it to be a teeny but less porky). Skip the noodles though – while the noodles were sufficiently springy and the broth flavourful, the beef was definitely overcooked. I was quite impressed by the silkiness of the tang yuan so it's a pity that the soup was dead bland, like hot water flavoured with a handful of raw nuts. )= But I still really loved the glutinous rice balls. Wish I'd discovered this place earlier. Saw it a few weeks back on someone's Instagram, but unfortunately, I can't remember whom now. Whoever you are, thanks!
PS. The tablet-based menu app is way more sleek than what restaurants with bigger budgets have. Whoa.
