Readily available at convenient stores/marts, because I needed yoghurt/something sweet👍🏻 like this more than regular Yakult as I found it less sweet!
Pizza Hut standard Pizza and chicken 👍🏻
At another stall in the Food Atrium of Old Siam Plaza this patient man serves non-crispy thin Thai pancakes at 5 bhat each! Patient because he gladly made fresh pancakes on the spot for me when I requested for it! Pancakes were yummy, different from the crispy usual.
One of the highlights of my trip! These addictive pancakes came with generous amount of coconut shreds, golden threads (sweet) and some sesame seed filling! They were the best Khanom Bueang I had on my trip that we had to have a second tray!!! Not like the usual Khanom Bueang these did not have coconut cream so if u r not a cream person these are perfect!!!
Tender and plump scallop meat, enough reason for you to order this dish at 500bhat (maybe the price made the dish even more attractive). We tried the stir fried glass noodles with seafood, meat and veg but we felt the glass noodles were not fragrant enough.
500 Bhat (approx 20SGD) for this decadent bowl of seafood goodness! Felt bad to order shark fin (poor shark) but the soup was really good! There were two plump scallops in the soup too (which led us to order the next dish)
50bhat (a little >$2) for a scoop of swensen's coconut ice cream on a cone!!! We loved the coconut ice cream here with coconut bits within!
16bhat for an original waffle that I thought had decent texture and density for a Belgium waffle but mum thought there was a flour taste that was a little overpowering! But for that price I'd gladly have this again esp they are strategically located around most BTS stations
From the boutique hotel we are staying at, at 80bhat this was not the best cheesecake I've tasted but decent! Would recommend this boutique hotel if you are looking for an affordable place to stay in bkk, however it's a distance from the nearest MRT (abt 6 min walk)!
Hunger pangs at 11pm called for supper... Interesting savory pie at Macs noticed the served fried dough fritters(you tiao) at the Macs in Thailand too o.o
Highly raved dessert place verdict: Heavily buttered thick toast with good matcha ice cream (retained a matcha flavor without being overly sweet), forgettable whipped cream. Yay/Nay? Neutral
Was very excited to try their Som Tam after the bad papaya salad we had at Or Tor Kor, but expectations were met with disappointment! Don't get me wrong that the Som Tam wasn't inedible just that the green papaya was rather tasteless if not for the decent sauce the salad was drenched in! Fried chicken here is a must order though, tasty and well marinated! Thai sausages were decent too!
