Delicious green tea ice cream, a good balance of green tea flavour and fragrance with sweetness. A good way to end the meal, though I prefer the Annin Toufu's light flavours. A lot better than your generic green tea ice creams. [RM8.90]

Light, creamy, almond "tofu" with just the right sweetness to refresh your palate after the heavy meal. The texture is similar to pannacotta, served cold. My personal favourite. [RM7.90]

The rich, milky broth can only come from the slow, perfected process of simmering pork marrow bones for that almost creamy taste. Packed with thinner ramen cooked al dente with all the dressings, just crush some garlic in and sprinkle on some roasted sesame seeds for a luxurious lunch. Add-ons are the kakuni braised pork belly, a truly generous strip of pork belly that will melt in your mouth, and ni tamago, a soft-boiled egg. Utterly delicious, an occasional splurge you'll be craving for till the next visit. Large serving and quick service! [~RM38 with add-ons]

Cold, springy ramen with a slice of pork chashu, lots of fresh green onions and menma (bamboo shoots) to be dipped in a big bowl of warm, intensely flavoured, slightly spicy sauce. Lots of garlic, green onions, bits of melt-in-your-mouth braised pork, sesame seeds amongst others give the pork-based broth a rich umami taste. Very generous serving and quick service! [RM23.50]

Hidden behind the deceptively regular Petronas station in a large concourse is this spot for authentic, halal German fare. I had the Currywurst w. Pommes Frites (RM12) and a Spetzi (RM4.50). The large chicken wurst is juicy with a good snap, smothered with a rich, smoky tomato and onion sauce, partially buried with a generous serving of crispy-outside-fluffy-inside fries. The 'curry' sauce is not spicy at all, the 'curry' factor coming from the mild turmeric that gives the sauce it's unique smoky flavour. The fries are dusted with a bbq seasoning. Simple but good. Spetzi, btw, is Coca Cola with orange juice, served only in one size- a tankard. A generous serving, I'd say!
