Been here a couple of times, less crowded now - for a Saturday noon.

Would you pay š° > RM30 for a rice bowl? š¤
Seafood with the open window concept is rare in Malaysia, and I kinda like it, except the fact that the view outside is not as breathtaking as Australia š¤£.

Would return to try out their rice bowls as well as oysters.

There are another two outlets: Bangsar and Publika.
Dinner menu: unagi set RM65 with sashimi and chawamushi. Thereās a small pot of green tea which is supposed to pour it onto the rice. Tried it but I preferred my rice to be just rice ...
.
.
A La Carte: garlic rice RM12, and chicken with home made sauce RM28 (we ordered teriyaki chicken however a different dish came, though we are ok with it. Then, they served teriyaki chicken :) good service and happy customer!)
At first I thought both tofu and minced chicken are separated but it was not. The appearance is better than the taste though. Prefer chicken karaage/ fish lunch set here, which serves along with miso soup. .
.
Will come back to try out their dinner set soon!

Tuesday's lunch @ Tenmaya Sogo. .
Lunch set: Tori Katsu Set (RM26+) comes with chawamushi, salad, fruits, hot green tea, miso soup, pickle and rice. Generous amount of chicken too! Good value of money! To note, this restaurant doesn't serve curry katsu :( .

Probably the worst choice we have ever made. We asked about the number of pieces but we forgot about the size. This Unagi Maki costs us RM45+ by the way. Ouch.
Japanese thin wheat noodles here is very smooth, dip it into the chicken soup and just slurp ! I think the portion is rather small for a guy š¬
Lunch set: Salmon Antichuho Donburi @ RM45+.Big fat piece of salmon with generous amount of rice, and not to forget the crispy fish skin in the middle. Presentation:100%, taste: 100%. Great value for money with quality food! Besides, having lunch at level 56 @nobu_kualalumpur with great view of KLCC twin tower n KL city is awesome! Ambience:100%. The only downside: Plain green tea is priced at RM16+, the most expensive green tea I've ever had in my life.
Omg omg omg !! Just when I thought Japanese restaurant offers egg-dishes like tamago or chawamushi, I found this: Wakon egg (RM15 nett). The surface tasted like salted version of Creme brĆ»lĆ©e. Once you poke it, the flowing golden egg yolk is simply irresistible ! ššš Down side: the portion is really small. How small? It merely filled up 1/2 of my soup spoon š š
Yuzu BBQ chicken breast & pork belly. Yuzu sauce on meat is something new, and it will never go wrong for a Yuzu-maniac like me! On the other hand, pork belly was rather dry and blend in taste.
Instead of ordinary soy sauce, Gyoza has found its new partner: wasabi. The idea of having wasabi slightly roasted on the top was a good one, which I think it has enhanced the overall taste. Thumbs up for Wasabi Gyoza (RM17.37 nett)!
