The chicken was fried till very crispy but yet it was still very juicy, SHIOK! I loved the maple butter sauce that was served at the side too, the saltiness and sweetness of this dish just blended in together so well. #throwback

$5. Not a fan cos it was very chewy and too sweet although the nuts did give a good crunch.

Stranger's Reunion is always a trusty pal for kickass coffee and waffles. Go for the Magic for a perfect cuppa, and relax with a book.

Very fragrant waffles topped with blobs of taro paste and drizzled with a vibrant purple taro sauce. The waffles are good. Light and crisp, and fluffy inside. This comes with a scoop of ice-cream - we chose the salted caramel flavour, which was alright but not impressive.

Like the Taro Waffles, the waffles here were nice and crisp, and really fragrant as well. They were drizzled with a really yummy cream cheese sauce that had a hint of coconut milk. Yum!

Besides the mini marshmallows, this did not really remind me of s'mores. The waffles here were crunchier than the taro and red velvet waffles though! This came with a sweet creamy sauce, reminiscent of melted marshmallows so I'll give it to them. We chose the Earl grey ice-cream to have with this, and the ice-cream was good. It had a prominent Earl grey flavour! :)

So stuffed in a bread marathon earlier, but the deep-rooted gluttony told us that we need to try the sourdough buttermilk waffle at Crown Bakery & Cafe, a new and exciting concept that will be coming to you in just a week's time.

The 45 varieties of handcrafted bakes, viennoiseries and snacks such as the signature Crown Bread, Hainanese Chicken Bread and Kaori Ciabatta are so good that every lifelong bread lover (like me) would enjoy and not miss.

This is one of the best waffles and ice cream combinations I've ever had. So good that we ordered another one immediately after!

Another soft-ish waffle--I seem to be encountering them often these days--this time for breakfast. It's served with natural yogurt, honey, one fresh strawberry and a few blueberries, which at $16, seems a little steep to me. So unless you are a complete waffle freak, I would recommend you go for the other items on their menu like their sandwiches and salads.
