Great Food In Bangkok
Great, tiny cafe!
This wanton noodle stall along Silom Road, Bangkok is cool! Though a little pricey as compared to the other stalls, it's still worth the try if you are here as a tourist! It's located just directly opposite Bugs and Bee along Silom Road!
Can only get this from Bangkok!!!
Missing this sour & refreshing pineapple & lime cooler at Chatuchak over the weekend.
5 munchies: You've not been to JJ Market (or Bangkok I'd say) till you try the legendary coconut ice cream. The ice cream itself is thick and creamy with bits of young coconut flesh. Up to 3 toppings may be added - I chose corn, roasted peanuts and nata de coco. This is the dish that makes me want to go back to BKK so bad!
P.S. The complimentary coconut water that they serve is pretty darn tasty too.
The stall is located at the entrance of Section 2, near Kamphaeng Phet MRT station.
To be honest, this is only nice to look at. There wasn't much Thai tea taste, nor was it really crepe cake. It was more like layered sponge cake rather than layered crepe.
Let the free flow food begin! Mookata buffet at 159 baht. It's a steal! It is not as tasty as those you find in Singapore, because it's less marinaded and the soup is just water. It's a lot healthier I guess! After you're done, have a refreshing coconut ice cream! Walk towards century movie plaza from victory monument BTS and walk past Eat I em and you will reach the open air Mookata restaurant!
A break from shopping in this atas looking cafe w atas looking ppl. I think we looked like lok kok tourist w all our barang. We got a flourless chocolate cake and creme brûlée. Though the flourless choc cake really taste just like fudge. I love the raspberry sauce on top though. The tart sauce went very well w the chocolate. The creme brûlée was a little cold inside but the caramalised top was hard enough. The cappuccino had a nice thick foam that I enjoyed slurping!
We saw that our neighboring table ordered it and we couldn't resist it! We thought it was Thai iced tea topped w Thai iced tea ice cream. Turned out it was ice blended Thai iced tea that was scooped out using an ice cream scoop. We ate it with our spoons and called it Thai iced tea ice kacang 😝
