Ice Cream, Waffles, Pancakes
The waffles was quite crisp and fluffy on the inside. The ice cream flavours we got were strawberry cheesecake and stracciatella, both of which were rather decent, not too sweet. Would come back again if I'm in the area!
The ondeh ondeh was pretty similar in taste with the legit dessert, although it was a bit too sweet. The nutella brownie was of the right richness and chocolate fans will love it! But both melted very fast, so don't take long to snap your photos!
The matcha flavour wasn't that strong here, although it did help mask the eggy taste which was very apparent in the original pancake stack. Do note that there may be a waiting time of about 15 mins for this.
Such Japanese pancakes are made using meringue to achieve the light and fluffy texture. No it doesn't wobble that much because it's not as thick as Gram pancakes haha. What struck me the very first bite was the strong eggy taste, which sadly I didn't fancy. It's still a good stack of pancakes, but my personal preference will still be the American buttermilk pancakes.
The 2 premium flavours I tried here are hazelnut and fererro rocher. Love the strong flavours of both, and it's actually not that overpowering! Good choice to pair them together.
Having tried this a few times at sister cafe Atlas Coffeehouse, I couldn't help but order it again here because it's so good that you know it won't fail you!! Fluffy and thick pancakes that's accompanied by a generous sprinkle of cornflakes, bananas and a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Creamier's waffles have always been my favourite - in fact one of the best I've eaten! It's so crisp yet light and fluffy! As for the ice cream, I actually think they're good, but nothing that spectacular? Although I really like their Pistachio flavour because it's intense and rich enough!
Flavours in this pic: pistachio, chocolate, Thai milk tea, blackforest chocolate
This plate consisting of two pancakes, two fried eggs, bacon, kurobuta pork sausage, mushrooms and baby spinach is definitely a hearty one for the ravenous!
The best pancakes ever!! And coming from a huge pancake fan, this means a lot! Absolutely love the thick and fluffy pancakes - plus each one is huge! Most people aren't able to finish this on their own, but I always polish everything off with so much relish!!
Waffles were really light and crisp, and I love the side toppings of Greek yogurt, stewed apples and pistachio bits! 😋
And now this reminds me of the Chinese version aka liushabao which I haven't eaten in a longggg time!
The food really lived up to its hype and the portions were generous! We left the place with full bellies but happy souls hehe 🙆
