Brewyard's special - the B:Y waffle. Of crispy waffle, cookies & cream and chocolate ice cream, bananas, grapes and chocolate syrup drizzle.
It was an okay waffle. Try when you or your friend have crazy cravings for waffles. Share the waffles amongst yourself for good conversation and coffee!

Some loves it on a sunny day. But everyone would go for dessert everyday!
The Korean version of ice kacang. Though I'm a little spoilt from the amazing bingsu from Korea, I can give kudos to OW:L as it was really yummy and less diabetic. Not a surprise since they originated from Gangnam, Seoul.
Perhaps one of the better bingsu places in Malaysia.
Layers: Vanilla ice cream. Real pieces of cheesecake. Generous amount of mangoes. All on top of milk shaved ice.
Food: 7/10 Price: 7/10 (RM 23 for small size)

We all went bananas. Though it was nothing bombastic, it definitely did not fail the basic satisfaction we get from these carb-loaded dessert. I prefer the crepe though. It was less sweet and much fluffier than the pancakes.
The famous banana pancake was however a little doughy on the day I visited. But definitely flooded with chocolate sauce and bananas.
Food: 6/10 Price: 6/10 (pancake - RM 8; crepe - RM 8 * I kind of forgot the exact price)

(NON-HALAL)

My top picks at Flingstones are always the big breakfast and pasta. Little did I know their sandwiches are a perfect comfort food too! What goes wrong with bacon anyway. I had the BELT - bacon, eggs, lettuce, tomato.
A hearty breakfast to cheer you up with crispy hashBrowns and bacon infused baked beans. Yum! Eggs were not placed on the bread. So brownie points for a toasty toast!
Good: 8/10 Price: 8/10 (Big breakfast - RM 25; B.E.L.T - RM 15; coffee - RM 10)

Non halal cafe. Delicious menu overall with porky bacon and sausages for their all day breakfast menu, to pastas and sandwiches that looks very appetising.
I went with their famous "chu yao char" aglio olio. Supposedly served with angel hair pasta but I opted for the fatter brother named spaghetti. Basically an aglio olio with deep fried pork lard that are usually found in Pork noodles or hokkien noodles.
Really delicious in my opinion. Generous Pork lard that you will never have first worlds problem of having too little, big portion of pasta noodles for a really filling lunch. However, it is slightly too oily for me. Thank God for a few sprigs of rockets to cleanse the palate and some table water.
Food: 8/10 Price: 8/10 (RM 18 - this is darn worth it for such a filling and delicious portion)

So many more choices and a few improvements on their menu.
One of their new item is the Big Boss. It is simply an open faced sandwich, with turkey ham, bacon(?) and eggs served on top of charcoal buns with a spread of cream cheese. I didn't like the cream cheese (or butter, I'm not really sure) because they tasted weird and a little too much. Great #eggyolkporn though!
On the sides are sweet potato fries and potato salad, as well as some tomato dipping sauce.
The hams were rather salty and I didn't really like it. Love the sweet potato fries as usual. And I'm not sure if it's just me, but having charcoal bread gives me some stomach discomfort - or was it just this whole dish's combo.
Food: 6/10 Price: 6/10 (RM 23.90 - to be reconfirmed)

Thinking back about GSM's fluffy yet dense chocolate banana cake. Topped with the fragrant taste of roared walnuts and almonds. Combined with legit banana taste in the cake and sinful chocolate sauce.
This cake matches their interiors too. Rustic industrial feel combined with some contemporary hipster and minimalistic designs.
Great place for hanging out to wind down amidst the hustle and bustle of sunway. Tucked in between office buildings.
Food: 8/10 Price: 8/10 (RM 10-11. Can't exactly remember the price. But it was a good price for such a large dense slice.)

and Mrs. Cafe, Iberico is still a very new place. It was quite empty when I went there. Iberico is named after Iberian black pigs. They are having a few set lunch promotions which is really worth it!
I had Honey Glazed Iberico Ribs (Half Rack 630g). It's their specialty and you get a choice of ribs by weight. I had the second lightest for half rack. Inclusive of two sides of your choice.
The ribs were so amazing. Falls off the bones in every bite. It is best eaten with hands. Just saying!! 😁 But if you don't want to dirty your hands, plastic disposable gloves are provided. Smart!
The honey glaze was grilled to the pork perfectly. So fragrant and sweet. It really complements the tender meat! Kudos to the chef for grilling the meat at perfect temperature and timing.
I was stuffed by the end of the last rib because I tried another dish too. Full rack of ribs would be great for sharing if you have a big carnivorous crowd.
However, I'm sure if you gave me a pink or black pig, I can't differentiate it. Lots of marketing differentiation techniques here aye. 😅 Food: 8/10 Price: 6/10 (RM 16/100g - prices are quite pricey. Maybe because it's a black pig. My half rack was already RM 100.80. And it was the second lightest. Half a rack is really little)

Head over to Jibby & Co at Empire Shopping Gallery Subang!
One of their specialty and signature dish, so far I've only seen Jibby that offers soft shell crab burger. How cool is that!

It's really delicious. Sandwiched in between coleslaw and their special spicy mayonnaise. Soft shell crab was fried. Great sweetness. Unfortunately it's incredibly oily. Oil drips out on every bite. 😓 That's one thing I don't like about eating soft shell crabs. I love the sweet brioche! Who doesn't love carbs right?
Served with a generous amount of sweet potato fries! My favourite 😊 and maybe a "healthier" version of fries (I'm lying to myself. Anything swimming in oil is still fried and unhealthy)

Food: 8/10 Price: 7/10 (RM 32 - Food at J&C is not cheap at all. Price range is about RM 25 and above, plus minus. But I forgive the price for this dish because of the soft shell crab. Understood to be expensive)

But anyway, it does not sound as nice as you think. Shredded duck was only about two to three tablespoons. 😒 The rocket salad garnish and pasta makes up most of the dish. It has a bit of spicyness. It wasn't too oily when I had it. It was very flavourful and nicely seasoned though! Nice fancy aglio olio.

Food: 7/10 Price: 6/10 (RM 29 - such a small portion, such high price. 😟 The duck was not even enough for every bite!)

Valentines day sweetness. The peanut butter icing was too little. Cake was incredibly rich. Not very nice to my liking. But if you manage to eat the cake and the icing equally, it is rather delicious.
