Most of the poke bowls actually feels similar to me, and I tend to choose the same kinds of marinated fish and toppings anyway, so I’m good as long as the ingredients are fresh. Plus points for this as it’s on the entertainer app!
Quite a good deal with eatigo discount. Don’t expect this to be an authentic Japanese bbq, it’s like a mixture of Japanese, Korean or Chinese styled bbq. Regardless, the grilled meats are still yummy.
As promised in its name, every dish here is packed with garlic including this spicy seafood pasta. Mad for garlic is actually from Korea and in this dish you can really taste the Korean influence from the spicy and slightly sweet gochujang used in the sauce.
Had the foie gras truffle yakiniku don priced at $19 during lunch time. As other burpplers have commented, the truffle flavor was non existent, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the meal nonetheless! The beef slices were good and the foie gras soft and fatty. I actually quite liked the sweet seasoning on the foie gras. Would suggest against the 5 bucks top up for the set and also the cakes which costs almost the price of a main at $12 - for the price I expected something special or a big slice at least but it was small and not well done at all.
This place has really good angmoh dishes with Asian twists like laksa pasta and ramen burgers. Don't know about the burgers but the laksa pasta and this carbonara were both amazing. The carbonara was very rich and creamy but doesn't make you jelat at all, unlike most creamy dishes I've had. Very reasonably priced too. Highly recommended!
This was slightly disappointing. The noodles weren't keeping in shape and wasn't even tasty. With few ramen burger places around, this had the potential but I doubt many would return after the first try.
Everything about this bowl of noodles was great, except the noodles. Would have been nicer if they used a more la-mian sort of noodle rather than this wonton mee kind! Especially enjoyed the potato prawn fritter which on first bite felt like potato chips 😍 The dumplings were also of quality, with legit pieces of prawns. Overall worth a try but not quite worth queuing for during lunch peak hour; the queue seriously crawls.
For 8 bucks this is a really good deal. Had the crackling pork belly on kimchi rice with an assortment of sides. Very flavorful. The portions were super generous too!
Their signature spaghetti was quite tasty and the egg very well done. But they could have been more generous with the ingredients like the sausages!
Didn't taste that exotic but it was certainly delicious! Seafood - two huge prawns and mussels, and a scallop that goes really well together with the creamy laksa sauce. The place is nice and cosy too but just a little too dim for nice photos.
Tender and delicious beef on seasoned Japanese rice, served with their signature 63 degrees egg. Best!
Lightly fried cod served on meesua, fried with a super yummy sauce of kimchi purée and mirin
