The Love For PANCAKES
Most of the food here seems to be priced well below that of many cafés. Which makes it a nice place to hang out at with friends if you're watching your spending. This plate of 3 thick pancakes cost $6 and was of average taste and quality. The coffee's good though and the friendly service would make anyone feel welcome.
This is a classic Pancake stack at Seasons Bistro. Those who have tried this pancake will agree with me that it was comfort food at its best. Happy H'Day everyone.
There's something about these simple pancakes, which look like quite a mess but taste like heaven. It makes you want to just dig in, making sure each bite is soaked in gula melaka and has the right ratio of perfectly whipped cream. Choose between the Banana and Walnut, and the Cherry and Chocolate. Best shared after you've already had your eggs, what a great way to finish off brunch. Photo by Daniel Food Diary.
Priced at $13.50, this stack of 3 red velvet pancakes come with addictive homemade cream cheese frosting, and are the perfect complement to the large serving of truffle fries you know you're going to have. Great for those who simply love red velvet! Photo by Keng Wee Tan.
Replacing the raved-about pancakes from its' former menu, the Brioche French Toast is served either with Berries and Mascarpone, or with Burnt Bananas, Smoked Bacon and Maple Butter. If you're going for something more substantial, the latter is a better option. Of course, the best thing to come to Riders for is the perfectly relaxing ambience of lush greenery and fresh air. Doesn't Rachel make them sound delectable? 'Pancakes with Gula Melaka Butterscotch. The salted gula melaka (palm sugar) over those plush pancakes is to die for. I walloped more than half of this. Just. Couldn't. Stop. Eating. For non-Singaporeans, "shiok" is a word to describe a feeling of utter bliss.' Photo by Rachel Xie.
For $11, these huge pancakes are simple and satisfying, served with a good dollop of butter and just the right amount of maple syrup. A great place for brunch or tea time, come here and relax with a good book, or a good friend to chat with. Photo by Rachel Xie.
Short stack of buttermilk pancakes and first time trying affogato
$19 is a bit pricey for pancakes but the taste was really good, I love the mixture of Caramelized bananas and berry compote along with the crunchy walnuts and nutty crumbles. Only bad point was that the pancakes weren't fluffy enough.
