Sumptuous spread from Melben Seafood. Great meal to buy back in the midst of exams
This deserves a post as the 'poor man's Big Mac' which you can get at half the price!
Order a 'McDouble' and ask for no pickles or ketchup but have the Big Mac sauce and lettuce instead - and voila! You have a pseudo Big Mac, without the awkward bread in the middle and some spare sesame seeds. Cheers to saving money š¬
Truly blessed to enjoy my mom's signature Prawn Mee made with much hard work and tender loving care :)
The soup is boiled richly with pork bones and grinded prawn shells that give the a rich and sweet flavour / Pork ribs and pork slices are done to melt-in-your-mouth perfection / Prawns are chunky, springy and fresh / topped with a concoction of deep fried shallots and pork lard - who could ask for more?
This ēč is a dish that originated from Hong Kong and contains all sorts of lovely goodies - broccoli, carrot, mushroom, cabbage, lotus root, prawn, roasted pork, chicken, duck, dried scallops and oyster, abalone, sea cucumber. There's so much in here that we couldn't even finish half!
This sumptuous bowl of delicacies sets you back $368, which includes 1 x yusheng as well. Oh and yes the pot comes along with it as well.

Worthiness (price): 3/5 - a reasonable buy to host reunion dinners at home
This is at the Jade Phoenix Restaurant @ SSC, whose chef used to come from the famous Hua Ting restaurant. Fish skin fried with Salted Egg is always a (sinful) delight. Reminds me of the Salted Egg Sotong from Old House, but Old House still trumps this :p
Once again, it's the time of the year for Yusheng! This is at the Jade Phoenix Restaurant @ SSC, whose chef used to come from the famous Hua Ting restaurant.
Not the most presentable (apart from some nice swirls from the blend between peanut and ABCS sauces :p), but top marks on taste. Breaded pork loin with Japanese rice, fried egg, and carrot, prepared by my lovely mom :) I'm truly fortunate.
Dishes prepared by my Aunty: Greek salad, Smoked Salmon and Parma Ham Hors D'oeuvres, Chirashi feat. Salmon, Maguro, Tobiko, Ikura, and shredded Seaweed. Amazing presentations, and this was just 1/2 of what was served.
Home to the famous 'Terminator Challenge'. I was gloriously defeated by this challenge, overestimating my appetite. They have a new challenge, the 'Red Hot Terminator Burger' which features spicy jalapeƱos and hot sauce. If you're up for a challenge, there's definitely one worthy to be conquered here...
Dine in the midst of graffiti. Enjoy some Thai cuisine here at Porn's best in a group - individuals ordering some carbs (rice or noodle, typically Pineapple/Olive rice and Pad Thai) with a bowl(s) of Green Curry at the side for sharing. The pairing of carbs and curry is simply delectable!
(For the pineapple rice)

"I love eating. But I hate getting fat. I love eating. But I only want to eat the best. I love eating. But I'm reluctant to spend too much." The above are a few paradoxes that describe my love-hate relationship with food. Yet at the same time they define my principles for choosing the places which I love to eat: 1) Hearty 2) Tasty 3) Worthy (of my money)
