Never thought we would be able to find affordable North Indian fine cuisine in the heart of the Tiong Bahru estate. Palak paneer, it's been more than 5 years since I had you...

I haven't had such good fries for a long while, although they went a little stingy on the truffle oil.

The risotto here made me a really happy girl for the day - I admit it isn't the usual al dente risotto rice kind (if you are expecting those, then sorry) but the one here is made much softer (almost like a mashed potato texture) which made it much more comforting to have on a chilly day. Paired with tender chicken, fried shallots and bok choy!
We couldn't resist but order the truffle fries ($11) as well - chunkier thicker fries were used, super satisfying!! Thank you for feeding us @brotherbirdsg & @cassakating for extending the invite!

A while ago, a friend of mine visited Artichoke for the first time and said he loved the Lamb Shakshouka there. The result from having two eggs in a skillet with spiced tomato sauce, slow-cooked lamb shoulder, green chili harissa, kewpie yogurt and pita, this is probably the best Shakshouka you are looking at in town. I like how everything similar seemed to have been done from scratch especially for the spiced tomato sauce which was a good balance of sweet-sour flavours without that "bleh" aftertaste that usually comes with canned purée, which went well with the slight gaminess of the pulled lamb shoulder that went into it. Dip the Pita into the Shakshouka, and the bread was able to absorb the flavours all so beautifully without getting soggy, maintaining its fluffiness without being all too doughy. It may sound exaggerating, but it felt like I am done with my hunt on finding a good Shakshouka around the island right after having the one served here.

Korean-Mexican food? I was doubtful but intrigued. We ordered a selection of their recommended items: Kimchi Carnitas Fries, Chili Lime Shrimp tacos, Barbacoa Pork tacos and Honey Tequila Chicken Wings. Drinks: Frozen Passionfruit Margarita and Dae Han Mango (Upside down beer bottle in a frozen margarita). Every single item we ordered was a hit. Approx $120 for 2 pax. Highly recommended. You won't regret it.

The batter simply blows with its paprika tinged batter and the moist meat just cuts it every which way, that's how you do brunch man! :)

Located in PasarBella (Suntec), this melt in your mouth, chewy tender beef meat is to die for, literally. Lightly drizzled in soy-truffle sauce, the bowl is fragrant and not overwhelming. Oh and those deep fried garlic slices, are stella, adding more flavour and texture to this already lovely bowl. This bowl has a slight edge over the already famed tanuki-bowl, with their oh-so-fluffy rice, and extremely runny onsen egg! Jjang đŸ‘đŸ»

This pigeon is from Brittany (more tender and fleshy), pan-seared, then slowly-roasted by drizzling oil all over in the pot.

Then, the bird entered the kitchen, and came out in a plate reposing on its own roasting jus, accompanied with beets and hazelnut crumble.

I'm always amazed at how masterful the dishes at @bridge.sg are, and how they insist on serving fine dining-quality food without the exorbitant price tag.

This black seabass exemplifies precisely what I'm raving about – perfectly pan-seared with a crisp skin, on French white bean stew and a gorgeous white wine sauce that complements the oiliness of the fish.

Finally got to try this today with the APAC Marketing Team from work - on a drizzly Friday afternoon. Such a rare indulge, Alice-in-Wonderland style 😊

The whole coconut is filled with coconut agar agar and the ice cream is an added pleasure. Yummy.

@Bridge.Sg introduces Lobster Croissant to their menu. Fresh, firm chunks of Boston lobster, scrambled eggs, bacon & baby spinach on a buttery croissant. Served with truffle honey vinaigrette mesclun on the side.
