Hawker Fare
Springy noodles & decent boiled wontons. The char siew is good thou'. Flavorful, moist & tender with slightly charred corners. One of the better wonton mee around.
The wanton mee had an old school taste to it, which is kind of comforting. That said, I still think it's overrated and I don't understand why there is a never-ending queue~~ And oh, that plate of fried wantons gotta be the most expensive wantons I ever had. I was shocked when the person told me "å°å§, åå”åļ¼("Miss, $10.50"). I actually paid $6.50 for a plate of fried wantons. š³ My bad cos I didn't ask the price when I ordered (I assumed it's $2-$3 at max). Moral of the story? Never ASSUME. hahaha. š
š Bought the wings from Good Luck BBQ Chicken Wings, Stall 29.
Slightly crispy on the outside, tender & juicy inside. Somehow, the flavour did not manage to penetrate into the meat. I would say that the wings are good enough to satisfy my craving but not outstanding. Oh wells... No š, š¤ also good, right? š
