The place to go to for Tarts! Love noth the chocolate and fruit tart! The Ice Shaken Lemon Tea is yums too! :)
quite a tasty plate of Aglio Olio. A little different from the usual since the spiciness is brought about by the black pepper instead of the usual chilli/chilli flakes/ red pepper flakes. If prawns are fresher and tastier, it will definitely alleviate the dish! Will I still order this again? Yes!
Been to this place many times, since the day it opened and has witnessed the many changes it has made along the way. Definitely, it always strive to improve. Not the best in Singapore I must say. But a pretty decent one. One that I don't mind going back to for comfort, food, drinks and conversation. And the plus point is, it is near home!
It's good to have brunch places near home! Because you can eat brunch any time you want, or not since they do close early. :p But it is a great addition to rhe cafe culture in Thomson!
Although slightly pricier than a usual cafe, it's easy to understand why. It's always a privilege to be able to spend your Saturday morning watching horses in a vast green expanse, while digging into a refreshing bowl of bircher museli and fresh berries. Coming to Riders is always a nice treat after a week of hardwork.
The Book Cafe isn't exactly easily accessible, but its extensive brunch menu, and its consistency in food quality are the drawing factors for its regulars. A veteran in the cafe industry, it has definitely lived up to the expectations of its customers with its hearty, satisfying dishes. If you are a beginner in cafes, The Book Cafe should be your first stop. FYI, it's also one of the few places Burpple co-founder Elisha, loves to work from.
Located in the most obscure place ever, La Ristrettos can be found within the maze of private clinics at Novena Medical Centre. You are in for a treat, with one of the best coffees, and latte art around. The kick - the mobile reception here is really poor (hey, it's a good thing sometimes!). Rest assured, no one can disturb your escapism.
This new kid on the Thomson block is a lovely new space that offers simplicity at its best. Sharing a space with Crust (which takes over after 5pm), One Man Coffee serves up superb brioche French toast and Toad in the Hole eggs with bacon jam that has everyone swooning. They also carry small pastry bites from Bakery Artisan Original (BAO). Photo by Alain Foodology
A calming environment with the perfect mix of vintage and industrial, Lola's is a great spot for a casual brunch. Their honey paprika wings are a hit, along with their trusty eggs ben. Pick a nice cider from their wide selection to go with your wings, and kick back for a relaxing weekend. Photo by gninethree G93
