The folks behind Chikuwa Tei and their new joint. The chirashi don looks familiar doesnt it? [Edit] I am terribly offended by a bunch of 5 friends/relatives who decided that this was a hawker centre and stood right at my table and gesturing to the staff that they want my table. I dont care who you are. That is outrightly rude. Why did your staff even allow them in to stand next to my table? Secondly, You guys missed my order and I had to examine the list to tell you which item yoy guys missed out, the appaling thing was that you were aware cos that replacement item was because you came back and informed me my original order wasnt available and offered an alternative. You only cleared my table after I stacked my plates and nobody came around to top up green tea until we asked. Yes, I like the Chirashi Don and this joint is 2weeks old but poor service is no excuse. Buck up.. If not even your chirashi don cant save you
Miss. Noodles were soggy and overall experience was average. Over-rated
Heard alot about this stall. Disappointed. The crux of Lor Mee is the gravy. Not the chilli. Not the fishcakes/pork or sharks meat nuggets. The gravy was bland. I prefer Waterloo St or Bukit Purmei anytime
Heard enough of this wanton noodles and needed to try for myself. To be fair, I wasn't there early enough to get the choice char siew bits. Thankfully, the char siew on my noodles had a fair amount of ends which was more savoury. The noodles itself could be done better. Perhaps due to the queue/tired arms. The "kee" taste was still very present in some mouthfuls and not in others. Potentially my noodles was a combination of 2 batches of noodles and 1batch not blanched well. Wantons had a slight fishy taste, weird if it was pork
