I liked the creamy pesto sauce, but was a little disappointed that the chicken came shredded. The online menu actually mentioned roast chicken slices, so this was a misrepresentation. 😠 At $18++, I don't think this was worth my $.

I was not impressed with this. The pancakes were pretty dense, while the cream cheese frosting barely had the tanginess of cream cheese. The whole dish could do with a little more sugar as well.

Frankly, I was disappointed with this :( The frosting was smooth and the taste of cream cheese was noticeable (though I would have liked a stronger taste), but the cake, though moist, was bland and hardly chocolatey! What's weirder was the addition of rose hip, which gave an odd floral note to the frosting :/ Will not be having this again.

We ordered the platter which came with 2 burgers, a set of mixed fries (sweet potato, yam and potato), and a choice of 3 types of wings. We chose the Herb Butter Injection Wings, which were stuffed with minced meat and herbs, Cajun BBQ and Buffalo Wings. Not a fan of the wings cause they were all served lukewarm and soggy, and undercooked 😥 (we sent them back to the kitchen, where they kindly cooked it for us). I can only hope it is a one-off mistake. The fries, sadly, failed to impress as well. They were soggy and oily. Though the burgers were fine except for a couple minor gripes (Tyson Peanut Butter Burger is on a separate post), it was frankly a disappointing experience for us.

My worst meal in a long while. We had the new pork neck rice in a stone bowl, expecting tender juicy pieces of pork but the meat was rubbery and full of tendon. We also had the gyu don, where the beef was dry and would have been tough as leather had it not been sliced thinly. The okonomiyaki was very loosely packed compared to those I had in Japan, and the tell-tale spongey texture of the shrimp meant that it was frozen (it also smelt fishy). The Katsudon was the most acceptable, but my dad makes better Tonkotsu - this one was really fatty. Sigh! Portions were small and it wasn't cheap either, especially for such quality. :(
