Simple typical Hong Kong tea house. Try this dish and the beef bun. Nice... super crowded during meal times.

Variety of traditional desserts at this awesome outlet. Balanced sweetness and the fragrance and taste of the ingredients used are also wonderfully balanced. Highly recommended.

Nice robust coffee and refreshing citrusy cheesecake with a nice tart finishing.
Coffee amongst cigars humidors is not a bad idea!

This is an institution. Tried their roasted pigeon and I must say it is good. Didn't realize how strong the taste of pigeon meat is and really appreciate the sauce that they serve with it and the lemon to squeeze on the meat. It's a little more expensive but considering the old school western dining ambience and good service, I think it is worth it. The baked soufflé is HUGE! It's bigger than my head! Haha... Couldn't finish it to be frank....though it's light, it does get a bit overwhelming towards the end. But will recommend to try it!

The Siew Mai and Har Gao here is really nice. But dim sum here is really expensive. Be warned! Frankly, I do not find that it is worth it to eat here.

I tried mak's noodle and frankly I am underwhelmed. The noodle is nice and the wan tan tasty but the serving is kinda disappointing. It's probably a tasting portion at best, 3 to 5 mouths and you are done. The noodles is springy and the wan tan tasty. I would prefer to go opposite in my future trips back.

My wife insisted that we come to this one star Michelin dim sum place no matter what and I am glad she did. This place is awesome, better than Tim Ho Wan (my opinion)! 😭 First off, it is a small eating place, so expect to queue. I was here at 10plus in the night and there was a short queue. There were people buying take out also. So do approach the shop people. The fried egg stick with honey is a must try! Crispy with just nice sweetness. 3 huge sticks! So if there is only two of you, order one serving will do. Super shiok! The surprise for me was the deep fried sesame balls. Such a simple dish but so good! Definitely a must stop dim sum place in Hong Kong!

Located directly opposite the famous Mak's noodles, do give it a try to have a comparison. I kinda like the noodles, springy and has a good bite to it. The wan tan has a dace fish finishing taste to it which is really nice. For me personally, I loved the fish meat. It's huge and really nice. And it has a surprise finishing - a tinge of mandarin orange skin! Nice!

Your trip to HK is not complete without an experience at ADC. First you gotta queue to get in, then u r herded to ur table and you gotta share your table with other fellow tourists, then deal with impatient staff and have your food served by the staff almost dropping the dishes on the table. Once you finished, your empty plates and bowls are taken away almost immediately, signaling that you should leave soon. Pay and out you go... No more than 30min. Typical HK tea house style. The food is an experience! The milk pudding is smooth and thick and the sweetness just nice, really nice. They perfect the making of this dish. The scrambled egg has MSG taste to it and was a tad too salty for me BUT the texture of the eggs is ..... I dunno how to describe it... There is bite but yet soft.... Wonderful.... I wonder how they have manage to perfect cooking this simple dish but eating it you know there is a difference in the way the scrambled eggs were done. Awesome!!

Was recommended to try this over the institutional Yung Kee (which is nearby by the way). Did not disappoint! The roasted goose's skin is crisp and the meat juicy and flavorful! The siu Yok has a crispy skin and the pork smell is not there. Meat is not dry. Enjoyed our meal here. Personally, I tried the char Siew but felt that it was nothing to rave about.
