Worth the Calories
The Iberico Pork Tomahawk ($48) was simply drool-worthy with its smoky aroma, and delightfully tender texture. It came with roasted rum-infused pineapples on the side, as well as a moreish pistachio crust that we devoured. The Prime Ribeye ($48) was served medium-rare, as recommended by our friendly waiter, and the bite was just perfect. Though the portion looked
small, it still made for a filling meal. Don't skip the side dishes because they are a great complement to the meal! The Paris Mushrooms ($10) were bathed in a laksa beurre blanc sauce that was simply addictive, and when you mix in the poached egg on top, it's the bomb! Also ordered the Brussel Sprouts ($8) which were served crisp, with bacon on top. It was an acquired taste, but we enjoyed it increasingly as the meal went by. #burpple
Settled for 2nd best, which was really fine as all - the Grand Poona, which was a toasted baguette stuffed with lots and LOTS of deliciously tender 6hr braised beef pulled and sautéed in jus. It was an incredibly juicy and messy sandwich, best eaten with hands. So sinful, but awesome stuff! Thanks @burpple for jio-ing 😉 #burpplegotjio #burpple
Wickedly decadent with an amazing texture, I relished every bite of the liver paired with the tender beef. Crunchy asparagus stalks on the side helped to cut through the meat, and we enjoyed the creamy mashed potatoes too. Paired this with a Cavalier de la Mediterranée Merlot for maximum enjoyment 🍷 #burpple #steak
Death by pork knuckle 🍴thanks @burpple for the invite, @brotzeitsg and @foodcultpr for the hospitality! #burpple #burppletastemaker #meatfeast #german #porkknuckle
Featuring their signature Crispy Oven Roasted Pork Knuckle, Oven Roasted Chicken, Honey Bavarian Ribs and Berner Sausages. It was impossible to select a favourite! Said to feed 6 pax, but it could easily satisfy 8-10. 😍Thanks @burpple for extending the invite and @foodcultpr @jennytanwrites for hosting us :) #meatfeast #meatlover #burpple #burppletastemaker #german
Almost forgot how good this stuff is 😋🍻 #burpple #foodporn #foodstamping #komex
🎄 the Hot Butter Ball ($16) was rye bread stuffed with turkey that had been tenderly sous vide, and it was evident in the amazing fluffy texture. It came topped with a sweet cranberry sauce and spiced bread stuffing for Christmas-y flavours. The Porchetta ($16) was a unanimous favourite between us, with roasted pork belly and a crisply fried skin that delivered a satisfying crunch, paired with caramelized onions and roasted garlic aioli sandwiched in ciabatta. So sinful, but oh so good 😲 #burpple #parkbenchdeli
🙌🏼 welcoming the upcoming weekend with affordable, scrumptious skewers at this hole-in-the-wall watering hole. Sapporo beer goes for $26 for a jug, and pairs perfectly with the sticks. There are so many delicious ones that it's difficult to list them all, but top picks are the teriyaki chicken, midjoints, handmade meatballs, bacon-wrapped-everything (enoki/quails eggs/cherry tomatoes), shiitake and the amazing eggplant with a kickass sambal sauce. Prices start from $1.30/stick and you can easily go overboard 😆 thanks @scottilenko for the recommendation! #burpple #tgif #yakitori
First time trying jjimdak and I loved it!! The braised sauce packed a punch in terms of flavour, and I was impressed by the generous chunks of chicken within. The carrots were incredibly tender, and could almost be my favourite part of the dish! Army stew was 👍🏼 it's almost impossible to get it wrong!
This robust lobster broth simply took my breath away! Was contemplating between the (healthier choice) clear soup or the rich, creamy broth, and greediness pointed to the latter which I had no regrets ordering at all! 😁 super flavourful umami broth, with springy noodles and other toppings like pork char siew, chicken char siew that was marinated with some very fragrant rice wine (I think) and a prawn dumpling. This indulgence was totally worth it
An atas twist on a favorite local dish, the Lobster Laksa ($29) came with a juicy half-lobster and flavourful, thick broth. I particularly liked how they served clams instead of cockles (not a fan of the latter), which gave this dish an additional boost. Only available in the month of August, glad I managed to try this!!
Crazy sinful, oozing with peanut butter. Crispy, gooey all-in-one. This is mad love. Will be back to try the rest of their sandwiches! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 For 10% off your bill, download the @holler.out app and use my code "XUANNYKELLY" (min. $30 spending). Enjoy!!! 😋 #hollerout
