Cafe Hopping
Situated in a two-story fire-engine red shophouse, Drury Lane along Tanjong Pagar Road is almost hard to miss. Serving up all-day-breakfast with additional dishes such as Cloud 9 (Cream Cheese Pancakes) and 1935 Toast (French Toast with Peanut Butter and Banana) on the weekends, the cafe also offers a variety of homemade pastries which changes daily, serving a seasonal blend of coffee with beans from Toby's Estate and a 'pay as you wish' concept for their muffins.
Tucked away in a cosy corner of the OId Badminton Hall, Brawn & Brains makes you feel right at home once you step in, complete with friendly smiles and warm greetings. With a delightfully unpretentious vibe, you can either enjoy a quick and delicious lunch bite, or stick around with a book and enjoy a great latte and homemade Earl Grey pound cake. This refurbished warehouse has been generating a buzz since it's doors opened as a sprawling bike shop and event space that conveniently serves coffee and food too. A lovely spot to relax on the weekend, come and check out the bicycles with your friends, and wind down with a simple coffee. Don't expect bells and whistles, it's a bike shop after all! A calming environment with the perfect mix of vintage and industrial, Lola's is a great spot for a casual brunch. Their honey paprika wings are a hit, along with their trusty eggs ben. Pick a nice cider from their wide selection to go with your wings, and kick back for a relaxing weekend. Photo by gninethree G93
