Mother and son run this stall inside a coffeeshop at block 158 near Ang Mo Kio Mayflower Market. For $6 you get good amount of big prawn slides or $4 for a very decent prawn noodles. Good quality of dry mixed noodles, fresh prawns and yummy soup. They have la la noodles too. Will try it on my next visit. Closed on Mondays. Opening hours 7.30 am to 2 pm.
I’m a choosy ice cream eater. I’d not eat ice cream other than the good ones. This is definitely an excellent milk ice cream. The milky smell came right into my nostrils when the ice cream was put close up to me. Belly delicious and the crispy waffle cone combines well with the milk ice cream. Belly yummy tummy deliciously good.
One of the better egg yolk thingy I've eaten so far. This is definitely not the too wet nor dry ones. You can really taste the yolk and the ribs are very meaty, tender and tasty. Yummy yummy yum yum.
Kok Sen Resturant is a zhi char place in two shops along Keong Siak Road. It serve very good Cantonese dishes and this is one of them. For $16 you get two big prawns sliced into halves and lots of greens. The wok hei is constantly good and the sambal and eggy gravy really top it all. Yummy yummy yum yum yum. This is one of the better oyster omelette in a restaurant. Good sized oysters and well fried omelette. Yummy
The "wok hei" can be smelt from these prawns the moment the dish was placed on the table. Well cooked and tasty.
Chef Desmond has learnt well from his father who started Sik Wai Sin which is well known for steamed Fishhead. I love the combination of fresh tender fish meat with the crispy pork lard. Sinful but yummy.
Usually restaurants just dish out sambal Kang kong but here they give you the crunchy and tasty cuttlefish. Belly yummy. At $12 a dish enough for 3/4 pax it's really worth it.
