in bangkok
I first chanced upon this almost 8 years ago in pattaya. it's now my favorite hunt everything I'm in thailand.
similar to our prata back home, this item takes about 5 minutes to get done. finely chopped banana mixed with a couple eggs, the guy den starts the fire and tossed that flattened dough onto the wok. adding butter for the crispness, he pours the mixture into the middle before slowly wrapping the prata together. pan fry for a couple minutes more and it is ready to be served. ending off with much condense milk and chocolate syrup.
early bird catches the worm and yes it is much yummier than the wanton mee.
somewhat magical interior with great food, but it comes with a price. ☝️
here in thailand, breads used are cubed, fluffy and not toasted. kaya comes separately and you dip a piece first in the soft boiled eggs, then with the kaya. instead if a crunch.
that's why I love exploring and traveling to other countries
who's up for it ?
similar to chin me chin back in singapore, but far more nostalgic and breakfast that is far better than I would have imagined.
their kaya - differs texture wise, taste wise and serving plating.
that bread - so soft and fluffy something you wouldn't find back at home.
the milk tea - I guess I'm just a fan of thai ice milk tea 😂😂
egg, banana and nutella does it for me.
prolly one of de few things I look forward in bkk ever since i found this gem here at talad rod fai.
well, now I know it does exist
I can't feel my legs anymore, but this ginger peach pops is so damm thirst quenching.
