For The Love Of Ramen🍜
Rainy weekend calls for some piping hot ramen. How I miss those tender, melt-in-your-mouth pork cheeks! 🐷
The ramen that made me very thirsty. Honestly, the ramen at Ippudo is normal. Tried 3 times & it doesn't leave much impression except that I get very thirsty after eating.
Have tried all of Keisuke outlets and I think Tonkotsu King's version of ramen egg is the best among the outlets. It's well marinated and the yolk is still soft and slightly watery. I like!
My standard order at Tonkotsu King @ Orchid Hotel. Tonkotsu Ramen with Flavoured Egg - "Strong Soup", "Less Oil", "Hard Noodles". Tried the "Normal" soup yesterday instead and it's kinda light in my opinion. (PS: I prefer thick and rich broth for ramen). Shall stick to strong broth the next time!
I love ramen. IMO, Keisuke's one of the best ramen joints in town! I like their ramen becos I can customize my ramen! One can choose how strong you want the soup to be, how much chicken oil, texture of the noodles, etc. Featuring Tonkotsu King Ramen with all toppings. Love the stir-fried pork slices and the al dente noodles. The broth at Four Seasons is cooked for 11 hours, resulting in a rich & thick pork broth. I usually choose "Strong" under taste of soup at the other outlets but for this, I chose "Normal" and the broth really thick and might be "jer lat" for some people. Can consider light if you prefer a not so rich broth.
New item on the menu back then. Too salty for my liking. MEH.
Noodles are springy and the pork cheeks are tender and melt in your mouth. My fav ramen at Santouka.
Marutama Ramen used to be my fav ramen joint. The broth, while tasty, is kinda oily and makes me thirsty after eating everytime.
