What To Eat At Jalan Besar
Value for money at $3! Though I wished the chili wasn't so watery, so it'd stick to the noodles better. This stall only opens from 8:30pm to 4am.
The sauces are tasty, but it's only added after the wings are fried so the meat tastes the same no matter what flavor you order. For the price, 4 fingers will do you better.
The regular dishes aren't that special. But the Crispy Chicken Skin($1.50) and Crispy Battered Fish Fillet($3.80) are a must order(sadly, they are not pictured here.) If you are craving the regular Nasi Lemak, with extremely delicious free flow rice, Nasi Lemak Kukus would be a wiser option.
If you're too lazy to queue for Swee Choon, this little dim sum shop just opposite should be more than enough to satisfy your craving!
Rice is nice, chilli is nice, soup is nice and chicken is nice!
Decent minced meat noodle, chilli was good, a little pricey at $4.
Favorite laksa! Light but yet flavorful, will never have enough of it!
The most awesome oyster biscuit ever! Crispy, and irresistible minced meat, oyster an prawn fillings!
