Brunch Places
Succulent and well seasoned beef cubes with crunchy tortilla Nachos. Great guacamole too! Would definitely recommend if you've not already been to a guzman y gomez
Seriously in love with the Danish omelette. Looks almost like cheesecake, doesn't it?? Stuffed with potatoes and topped with what was supposed to be bacon (they ran out and gave smoked salmon instead, not complaining), this is certainly a treat you're not gonna get elsewhere. Massive love for their sourdough + rhubarb compote + homemade caramel that comes with this too!
This luxe omelette is served with lobster and prawn chunks in a delicate lobster bisque, then topped with briny avruga pearls (made from herring roe). A rich dish in both senses of the word and a hedonist's delight.

The Book Cafe isn't exactly easily accessible, but its extensive brunch menu, and its consistency in food quality are the drawing factors for its regulars. A veteran in the cafe industry, it has definitely lived up to the expectations of its customers with its hearty, satisfying dishes. If you are a beginner in cafes, The Book Cafe should be your first stop. FYI, it's also one of the few places Burpple co-founder Elisha, loves to work from.
I love having breakfast eventhough it's is not morning. So I constantly on a look out for places that serves all day breakfast. European Eggs Benedict & English Breakfast. European one was a clear winner, the creamy hollandaise sauce was superb. English breakfast was nothing to brag about, pretty standard. Rhubarb soda & Mocha Dolce - both very good. Ambiance was very inviting. Will definitely go back to try other items on the menu.
Replacing the raved-about pancakes from its' former menu, the Brioche French Toast is served either with Berries and Mascarpone, or with Burnt Bananas, Smoked Bacon and Maple Butter. If you're going for something more substantial, the latter is a better option. Of course, the best thing to come to Riders for is the perfectly relaxing ambience of lush greenery and fresh air.
This brand new cafe along Evans Road highly recommends their salted caramel waffles, which are light, fluffy and tasty. The coffee here is decent too. Needless to say, this cafe will please the Bukit Timah folks!
