From the stall 'Whampoa Barbeque Seafood and Chicken Wing', here's featuring one of my fave local foods - glistening chicken wings barbecued to crispy perfection. A pinch of lime and the chilli adds a nice sharpness to the savory wings. Yum!!

This humble $2 'Sungei Rd laksa' right here is one of my personal favorites - they use charcoal to boil their gravy, giving it an authentic and mildly smoky flavor that I simply adore. You won't be seeing any tau pok, prawns or egg in this minimalist laksa — only fresh cockles, some beansprouts if you may, fishcake slices and their house-made chili. Highly recommended! Located along Townshend Road in Top 33 Kopitiam. For those who know where Swee Choon is, the kopitiam is just behind Jalan Besar Hawker Centre😊
