SAVORY
Attracted by the happy hour oysters promotion of $2-$3, we ordered 2 dozens. The oysters were large and creamy, and I could actually consume more if my companions had been more supportive. Additionally, we had the rainbow trout, trying this fish for the first time, dressed with egg yolk, almond milk and mustard seeds - it was good. How could anyone not order calamari at a seafood feast, and that was what we did - not my kind of sotong as it was rubbery. Finally, we couldn't resist the wagyu kobe skirt that came with bone marrow, carrot and red wine and this was the best dish of all - grilled till perfection. Pricey though, as portions were small.

Enjoying a delicious Afternoon In Mezzanine tea set with a magnificent view and lovable company... We ordered from a menu of interestingly-named dishes which came with an impressive presentation: A Sunday Afternoon On The Island (chicken satay), Three Musicians (soft shell chilli crab), The Kiss (BBQ squid), Picasso's Blue (deep fried prawns), Pu-er Tea that came with spicy cookies and pineapple juice.
Every dish was really tasty and memorable, though items were quickly served. Would definitely be back!
We were finding a place to eat before going to the movies and stumbled upon this cafe. We have high standards of curry chicken as both our moms can really cook this dish well. We were pleasantly surprised to find the curry served really hot and it was spicy enough, and there was a chicken drumstick and chicken wing. Charcoal bread was warm and very crispy and the garlic bread was very tasty. Verdict: would definitely be back again! Nice find and inexpensive!
This is a small joint but serves a pretty decent menu. There is pasta, rib eye, wagyu beef, lamington cake, alcohol, chicken cordon bleu, salmon steak etc.... we discovered this place after an impromptu spa session at Han Dynasty after driving past and spotted this Rocca Building. We ordered rib eye steak with fries for $19.90, Bundaberg root beer for $4.50 and a glass of Merlot for $11. We have high expectations for steak and the steak here is surprisingly tender but should improve on the seasoning. Nonetheless, we will be back if we were to return for another spa session!
Must try: Best Thai steam fish in town - very fresh seabass bathed in bubbling hot tom yum broth; best spicy pork with Thai holy basil - devilish and mouth-watering both from the spiciness and juiciness! The wait will be 30mins to an hour, even if you are the first customer. It's unfortunate despite its success, the restaurant has become inefficient after its expansion. If it can deal with these issues, I believe it can achieve much more. We are a fan though, and patronise it every other week. The food is worth the wait and we look forward to see it progress further!
This is the most fried meal I ever had. All items are well-fried and tasty, nothing special though. But I would prefer the samba to be more spicy. The meal for 2 costs $90 which we feel is not worth it at all.
Sweet and refreshing!
看了就想吃!
Oily but tasty!
One of the better ramen in Singapore!
This dish is phenomenal. Extremely fragrant and the chicken is so tender. At first look, my eyes almost popped out, my jaws dropped and I felt my saliva was dripping already. After that I just couldn't stop eating and planned to come back again tomorrow. Not sure why I had missed this shop for so long.
