heard about this famous dak-galbi from Uncle Jang long time ago and with positive comments. after 1year of curiousity, i and my boy finally went to the restaurant to try. our first impression was not so good as the place looked a bit old and outdated. it even still uses "winter sonata artist" as the wall sticker while other korean restaurants have used wall stickers like SNSD or super junior. the taste was normal also. nothing so special other than the foods idea which is rarely found in other korean restaurants in KL and Klang Valley.
I and my boy were having sorethroat but insisted on eating Korean food. Bulgogi Brothers is famous for its bulgogi bbq sauce but we did not order any bbq food as I worried our sorethroat would getting worse. Bimbimbap was not a good choice as well, but it was better than having bbq.
Previously, I did not think to try Korean bbq other than the bibimbap or the spicy taufu soup whenever I went to Korean restaurant. I thought I would not like the sauce for the bbq. The first time i tried korean bbq was on my friend's birthday, at Da Sa Rang. After that i was addicted to it and even until now.
No idea for what to eat for dinner. Walked in to Isetan @ 1U and saw a tiny Korean restaurant. Initially, I was a lil bit doubt of the foods' quality in this tiny restaurant. Nonetheless, i and my boyfie decided to go inside and try. Surprisingly, the food we ordered was indeed yummy. The price is slightly high though. It costs RM60 per plate. Well, I personally feel it doesn't really worth it despite the yummy taste. Know why? The service is terrible. Go and experience it yourself and you will know XD
First time trying Korean foods other than Daorae and Da Sa Rang. The taste was ok but still I prefer Daorae. It only has two outles which can be found in Kepong and BB Klang. The difference I noticed from other Korean restaurants is that the staff directly give you finished-grilled meat instead of you yourself doing it.
