Overseas - Bkk
There are basically three types of porridge base: the tom yam porridge, the super chicken porridge, the original pork porridge. If you are not craving for rice, you can order their noodles. The claypot porridge here can be mixed and matched with different ingredients, including salted egg, peanut, minced pork, fish slices etc, to suit different needs.

I would bottle up the curry sauce they used for the crab if I could. It's that good. The best way to describe it would be as a mix of salted egg sauce and chilli crab sauce and it's thick, satisfactory and addictive. The Tomyum soup was also decent (didn't have one bad bowl while in Thailand). Plus, the whole meal was crazy cheap, despite the fact we had crab we only paid around $10 per person (we had 4 people). This place is popular among locals too, so there'll be a queue but it moves pretty fast so no worries.
Thought that this paled in comparison to the Thai Tea Crêpe Cake but that's only because my love for Thai Tea is greater than my love for Milo. Topped with Milo nuggets and a rather thick Milo sauce, think "Milo Gao", the Milo Volcano Crêpe Cake would be heaven for Milo lovers.
One of my favorite place in Bangkok
Haven't had lunch since touch-down. Another short business trip, but glad to have colleagues with me this time. Seafood dinner! This place seems to be packed with Korean and Japanese tourists.... hmmm...
Great contrast - Traditional Thai food in a modern industrial setting. Love this place. Do remember to make a reservation if you intend to head over there for a meal!
An amazing place, indeed like what its name says - Secret world. Highly recommended. But do remember to make your reservations!
It's hard to pick a favorite dish of the night. If I have to pick one, this is it. Pork ribs were absolutely tender! You have to order this when you are at Soul Food.
Was incredibly lucky to have my first Top 50 experience here with a most special man. Thai cuisine is all about the right balance and complexity of flavours thanks to the myriad of herbs and spices. More details soon.
Oh yes. 80 baht per drink. Always a winner.
The stall name “Mit Pochana” means “where friends gather”. The chicken soup is boiled for long hours and here, you can also find CHICKEN BLOOD! My bowl of fish maw soup costs 50 baht. Have a great Tuesday everyone!
